So yeah, I can't see anyone at Etalk chasing down Hedley to find out if Jacob is married or not, because they know the answer already.

But does he have a baby??? Enquiring minds want to know.

The consensus of the family, today, on Adam/AMAs, is that he made an ass of himself and screwed up his career. They don't follow who's selling more albums, go to Idol concerts, or read mj's blog (either one). They're just regular people who watch AI and watched the AMAs. "It's a shame. And he can sing, too." "Ugh. That was so disgusting." They even knew he was cancelled from GMA and picked up by CBS's morning show. (Kind of proud of them for knowing all about Idol stuff. lol.)

This all began because we were watching a show on Fox that featured figure skaters, as well as singers like David Archuleta and Kat McPhee. I noticed that K. McP. was billed onscreen as "American Idol Superstar."

I didn't even know there was another MJ's blog, lol.

Every once in a while it gets mentioned on the mj's blog we know and love. How about We Hate Idol? Ever hear of that? I only recently discovered it. Be forewarned: there's not a lot of love for the glittery alien. (Not that there's much more for anyone else.)

WE HATE IDOL

I was watching the football game today, and I suddenly thought: Kris and Daniel must be watching this right now. I think this reaction of mine is commonly referred to as tarding.

That was the work consensus too, but who knows what will happen now that every media outlet in the world feels they must weigh in on the issue, it's snowballing into craziness. But that's funny that they knew about the cancelations.

You watched that huh? lol (Kidding, I'd probably watch it.. I still don't really remember K. McP. - now for me - she was kinda forgettable - What year was she on? I know she came second.. didn't she? Was it Taylor's year?)

Kris and Daniel must be watching this right now. I think this reaction of mine is commonly referred to as tarding.

LOL!

Blame it on the tryptophan. (Autotuned, of course. "Blame it on the trip-tri-tri-trip-trip-t-trip-tophan..." Maybe "Blame it on the Butterball?") Anyhow I got sleepy after I ate and went into the den to watch TV because I could hardly stand up. And this show called "Kaleidoscope" came on after the game. It was a good show that combined figure skating (Scott Hamilton, Dorothy Hamill) and music (David Foster, Olivia Newton-John, Idols) with cancer awareness. Or, as mj put it:

The program, taped on November 16 in Washington DC, brought together ice skaters, singers, and cancer survivors to raise awareness of the fight against cancer.

Kat McPhee was gorgeous. Her skin on the huge TV in high def (something I don't have in my humble abode) was flawless. Kris, eat your heart out. Her singing was uninteresting. She stood totally still like if she moved she might knock a hair out of place, and sang "I'll Be Home For Christmas." Her voice was really nice, but her singing was inexpressive. In that way she reminded me of certain Idol singers of the past and why I always thought the show was weird. To me, personality and expressing the lyrics in singing is really the most important thing. Still, I liked her very much.

Lol. No, I did, she had something "nice" and likeable that just came across. She didn't push it but it was there. I mean she seemed feminine and...clean? Well behaved?? Obedient? Cheerful? Thrifty? I don't know. I also liked her voice.

That made me LOL, I'm not sure why.

Can I confess my tarding moment from today? Kris's tweet about Tryptophan. It pleased the science geek in me. And I was actually joking with a collegue last week, how it would be "funny" to name kids with amino acid names. Which led me to say that Tryptophan was definitely my amino acid name of choice.

Of course, I would never name my kids with amino acids name: "Proline, Leucine, Arginine, come to bed!!!". Might be a bit awkward.

Hi, my name is missaddicted and I'm a geek.

I saw a show tonight by one of my favorite entertainers. His name is Gregory Charles and I know he's not really known outside of Québec, but he should be! He KNOWS music. He can do anything, he sang all kinds of music tonight, he played piano, violin and clarinet, danced and sang opera. In the second part of his previous show, that I saw four times, he asked people in the audience to make special requests on a piece of paper and he would choose pieces of paper at random. And he had to do the song written on the paper, whatever it was. And he didn't tell his musicians what the song was. He just started the song and they had to follow! Awesome musicians! Tonight, he asked people in the audience to give him years between 1945 and 2009. He got 25 and he and his musicians had to do a medley of some of the biggest hits from the chosen years in 20 minutes. They went from My Heart Will Go On to Billie Jean to Yellow to Let It Be to Poker Face to Ain't No Sunshine, etc. Yes, it seems a bit gimmicky like that but watching the execution is an amazing experience.

ETA: a video of the guy I saw tonight, from his previous show:

That's a nice picture of Kris! I love the bow on the guitar, for whatever reason!! I'll have to read the article later.

You are BOTH making me LOL. :) (feminine and clean? lol and Amino acid kids? LOL)

Didn't Gregory Charles also have a talk show on the CBC? I seem to remember him from that..?

And yay for Kris on Usatoday magazine. Nice.

MOD today had a lot of newbie wannabe Vj's trying out for a Vj position and they all had to do a news piece for MOD. Both groups chose the Adam Lambert story. Tim asked them why they picked that story and one of the guys said it was a slow news week. LMAO - way to show your news gathering ability. Which might actually be one of the reasons the story has grown so big. Lot of opinions from people on the street, mainly the consensus was that they didn't really care what he did, but should have thought about who his audience was on ABC. Tim also asked if Adam didn't hurt the dancer guy since he slammed his face into his crotch, LOL - Tim.

Anyone else hear anything about Kris being in the Disney Christmas parade? He was mentioned here - but I don't know if it's true or not.

Yes, I think so. He had a show on the radio of Radio-Canada for sure, but I think he also had one on CBC radio.

That seems plausible, David Cook was at the parade last year (Archie too I think). He wasn't in the parade per se, he and guitar player Neal did a beautiful acoustic rendition of Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas:

They also did it for the Christmas Rockefeller Center special as well as Happy Xmas (War Is Over):

(The second video is Happy Xmas.) Love Neal's guitar in that one!

No sooner did the USA Weekend stuff appear than people started to say how it was cheesy and was bad marketing for Kris. This was started on twitter by some of the freaky tin-hatters (I think). I consider these kids troublemakers. One of them seems to have tweeted Slezak and Jim and other people (Kris, too, supposedly) with the opinion that he's being "marketed" all wrong. Anyhow this became a topic of contention on mj's blog.

God, I'm really sick of every good thing that happens to Kris being turned into a controversy or something bad. Do you know that this Sunday supplement has a circulation of 22.6 million (as opposed to Rolling Stone's 1.4 million, for example)?
The biggest stars are on the cover of this thing, nobody turns it down. The website shows a cover with Pacino and DeNiro, for example. They tend to do the same nice, family-friendly stories about everyone. But for Kris, this is some kind of problem.

As far as I know this is Kris's first national cover. I wonder about the motives of a lot of these people.

I couldn't take it any more. People saying Kris's suit at the AMAs was in bad taste. On that blog.

KRIS'S SUIT WAS IN BAD TASTE???? KRIS! That little orgy at the end of the broadcast was great, but Kris has no taste??? BWAHAHAHA! I think I may need to take a pill.

LOL - relax Ross. It's gonna be okay. Serenity now, serenity now.

Kris looked good.. http://cache4.asset-cache.net/xc/93...05C49E5E27FE72959E4981AEB97AF8F0300010790FAED

Even Nicole and Keith thought so...Kris and Katy do not look out of place at all on the red carpet.

Cover your eyes and skip this paragraph:
Much More Music is now talking Adam, Matt Wells asked one of the Arkell's what he thought about Style over substance in music. (A: He likes a mix of both) They then started talking about the Arkell's new video which has some Sorcese (totally spelling that wrong!) connection -- maybe it's the boxing theme?? .. Matt then said he'd like to see Adam lead Joe Pesci around on a leash.. it got random.. 8O LOL

and I loved those David Cook Christmas songs.. I need Krismas Music :)

from the AINow interview with Jim (Jim's office -- bonus Cale cameo)

The Arkell's? Don't know 'em. Band, or family?

Matt then said he'd like to see Adam lead Joe Pesci around on a leash.. it got random.. LOL

I think I'll pass on that! lol

I was kind of under the impression that the actual issue with Adam at the AMAs (as far as I'm concerned, anyhow) was that he couldn't sing or dance and his number was a disaster. Someone emailed me today, "That was one HOT MESS." I don't know how it's become about all these side issues. The spin makes me so annoyed.
