An Election is not about 1 issue - 1 promise - 1 Screwup. It is a convoluted creature that has many sides and is multifaceted.
Lies, BS and more spin than anyone really needs. They play to your emotions and in some cases pure and selfish greed.

It's still too early to say how the Leaders have performed, but as for the promises I think the promise Layton made about capping credit card interest at 5% is BS. It just sounds too good to be true, and since when is it government's responsibility to "tackle household debt"?

Studies have shown that the credit card companies then come up with a different scheme to maintain their profits. What should be considered are the small businesses that are require to pay differing fees Dependant upon which credit card is use - 2, 3 or 4 % hit small bus hard. The cost for a debit card is 12 Cents. The bank fees in Canada are outlandish.
