I'm of to the states next week for a conference. Even at this exchange rate booze is much cheaper in the US so I'll be stocking up before I return home.

I recollect suggesting (not on this board) that we tie the U.S. and Canadian dollars right about the time the Canabuck hit parity. Lots of Canadians were saying "Rar! We're taking over! Your Yankee dollars are worthless!"

They don't talk so much now.
