Aren't you the one being confused? I think most people realize that he didn't break any law, but he had promised to make such a law. Thereby breaking his word. That is a pretty good reason not to vote for somebody, especially if you were one of the people that really wanted the fixed election dates.

Well, there are people in court trying to have the election ruled illegal. They must think he broke a law.

I heard that the Soviet Red Army has infiltrated the NDP and Liberals. Layton could be KGB and Iggy involved the building 7 demolition. I don't want to overstate this but voting for the Conservatives could be a vote to save Canada from nuclear terrorism.

Layton does look like Lenin and Iggy is the only person to lead this country in a majority.

If the Conservatives had a majority in 2003, Harper would have joined the Americans in the Iraq war. That means Harper would have been just as guilty as Bush in committing war crimes and Canadian soldiers would now be stuck in Iraq.

Ignatieff also suppported the Iraq war back in 2003. If he had been the Liberal leader in 2003, he would have taken Canada down the same path as Harper.

Back in 2003, the only major party in favor of respecting international laws, treaties and conventions was the NDP.

Regarding the Israel's Dec. 2008- Jan. 2009 war crimes in Gaza, Harper said nothing, Ignatieff supported them and Layton condemned them.

Jan 08, 2009 statement by Michael Ignatieff on the issue of Israel and the Peace Process

Dec 29, 2008 statement by Jack Layton on the issue of Israel and the Peace Process

If a someone can't tell the difference between just wars and war crimes then they have no business being leader of Canada. I'm proud Canada stayed out of Vietnam in the 60's/70's and stayed out of Iraq.

The very last thing that Canada needs at the moment is a majority for the Conservative Party of Canada.

The Right Honourable Stephen Harper P.C., M.P. (Calgary Southwest), the Prime Minister of Canada, has openly decried and campaigned against institutions meant to defend Canadians, such as the Honourable the Senate of Canada, and the Supreme Court of Canada. He has also twisted and bent constitutional conventions to his own designs, even endeavouring to drag the Office of the Governor General of Canada down to partisan levels to further the schemes of the Conservative Party. We have been able to prevent the darker agenda of Her Majesty’s Government for Canada through active (and plural) opposition in the House of Commons (despite the Government’s attempts to revoke and undermine the House’s legislative authority).

We have a Government that has no respect for the law (not even the laws which this Government had enacted, such as pre-scheduled election dates), no respect for the fundamental principles of justice and the independence of judicial institutions, and no respect for the Canadian people. That is not a Government that should be rewarded with a majority, but rather one that should be relegated to the backbenches of the opposition side of the House. Let’s see whether the Government sabotages its own budget (again) come this Autumn, and then accuses the Opposition of ‘forcing’ an election.

The Conservatives are a joke.

We may have stayed out of Vietnam but we supplied the napalm and helicopter gun ships. Not too proud of that.
Point for Cliffy... I'm not proud of that either.

We also are guilty of profiting from the Iraq war crime too. We arm lots of mass murderers and human rights abusers around the world besides American ones. No I'm not proud of this either.
