For the people who find the economics stuff incredibly important (even though the economy doesn't really matter)...

Canada's GDP grew for 3rd straight month in August

The goods-producing sector is now "within a hair's breadth of where it began the year," TD economist Brian DePratto said. "After the wildfire-led pullback in economic activity in May, and the subsequent rebound in June and July, it looks like things are effectively back to 'normal' for the Canadian economy. "

Because the standard of living will always be pretty good.

So when all the leftards were screaming about Harper and Dutch Disease, it didn't really matter, right?

Please refrain from the ad hominem.

When you have a government who's primary motivation is the economy, then they need to be justly criticised for doing a poor job, even if the economy doesn't really matter.

Tell that to our neighbors to the south of us.

you mean words like 'conbots'?

When you have a government who's primary motivation is NOT the economy, then they need to be justly criticised for doing a poor job, especially if the economy doesn't really matter.

Out with the old -- Oil and Manufacturing

In with the new -- Information and Knowledge based economy

Building 'economy of the future' means good news will have to wait: Chris Hall - Politics - CBC News

information and knowledge based economies rely on archaic concepts like intellectual property and copyrights.Open source projects and freedom of information are not embraced in information and knowledge based economies. Most people in Canada don't want the crap that you are peddling.

To date, I see nothing good about the new Liberal government. Where are the jobs, large deficit that is wayyyy out there, no cushion left at all, large immigration (population of 100 million, seriously Jt?) with no plan for jobs and housing, taxes and more taxes, theirs plan is not new, it's been tried and failed, this is not what I was hoping to see one year down the road. That X-large debt will have to be paid!! Millennium are waking up, their hope of many promises by the selfie king has been proven a lie.

Our GDP is good for our bank parters, if you'll look at the contracts Canadians get the smallest slice. A few pothole patches quites them down, forget them it's too cold to riot now. No it dosn't have to be paid at all.
