A drop in oil that harsh would have sunk anyone's battleship;)

The real question is. Are we getting our money's worth for a 15 billion dollar deficit?
Many people have full time employment and are still struggling. Many people have abandoned the idea of ever having children.

I'm not sure that's a indication of economic prosperity.

MF's measure of the economy is measured by how much money is jingling in his jeans!

We're all doing great as long as we prioritize properly. Kids are definitely out of the question.

I'm sure it is, from up there in that ivory tower where you work every day.

I work a private sector job that has nothing to do with teaching.

I make a fairly middling income.

I'm actually the target market for people like Trudeau and Trump but I'm aware that none of us really need the help.

Mind you, there is a secondary problem, the money shortage felt by many is largely due to being ripped off by the GREEDY bastards who are prospering.

CEOs are the only culprits here if you're going to take that position.

Well the years I struggled I had to borrow what I paid in taxes that year. So I'll meet you half way.

What is alarming is that I haven't struggled much since I changed my view point on life from a socialist to capitalist. Attitude dose make a big difference.

As a socialist thinker I wasn't looking for opportunities to make money for my employer. That's what has changed.

Nothing gives jobs security in construction like regular profits.

They are ONE of the culprits, it's not just C.E.O.s who over charge. There are places in town here where I can buy a cup of coffee for $1.25..................those who charge more (for the same size cup) are ripping us off.

Actually, that has more to do with Trump! He's building pipelines......remember? :

The price of oil goes up and down regardless of pipelines. If you weren't a complete moron, you might be able to wrap your head around that.

So...............10% of the lost jobs are returning! Idiot!

More than that but that's not really the point. They're good paying jobs. Oil patch workers make so much money they can even afford tooth brushes. Too bad you never qualified for one eh?

What do you care about good paying jobs anyway? You'd never qualify for one!

You're just jealous because my job allows me to travel extensively and you couldn't even pay off your mortgage. You should have stayed in school.

You want protectionism, leftard.

It still amazes me how the Trumpites have embraced Dipper policies.

Been there Ang. I think my longest stretch was 36 hours straight. All of our paychecks were no good and our useless employer was nowhere to be found. It was Christmas time and this payday was going for presents for my kids. I had a fellow who owned a bakery that I did side work now and then wanting a black lacquer wall unit for his home so I got on that and worked straight through until I got it done. Christmas was a couple days late that year so we got the kids a bunch extra. When you're a young man you can pull those hours whuch I did several times to get the jobs done. Hopefully you'll save so you don't have to when you get older.

You're a proud Dipper

Trumpites aren't capitalists but nice try. I doubt you're fooling anybody. Even most other Trumpites (while not willing to admit it publicly) know they love their governments and look to government first, as the main source for problem solving

School teachers like mentalflake wouldn't know. They wouldn't be able to relate. They have absolutely no clue many people face this struggle. It's why they can't comprehend how the hell Trump won. No one who isn't struggling can wrap their heads around it

Nope. Grade 12 can do wonders here in Alberta

I have grade 12. I'm not sure I'd consider moving to a $hit hole like Alberta though.

I already live in a big enough $hit hole. I don't think I'd consider downgrading even more.

Good for Alberta. We don't want people that whine about their circumstances but not do anything about them.

You can keep your $hit hole. If I move somewhere. It will be to upgrade the environment I live in. Not to make it worse.

You and the other deadbeats might be but those of us that work and pay taxes are not. Neither are our grandkids that will pay for your entitlements today.

He's not having kids. Why would he give a $hit?
