I think it's wrong to be rattling sabres at this point, but don't forget he was addressing the military, who might do better with a higher purpose in mind. I don't think it was intended for public consumption, but you know what sensationalist sh*t-disturbers Loc... er, The Media is, though I wouldn't want to shoot the messenger (though he, as well as those who crave his hyperbole, could do with a talking to).

I'm not entirely thrilled with Harper either. Of course he's the worst PM ever (except for all the rest), but I'm not quite ready to replace him with the next idiot just yet.

Like I said in the forums when he got a majority.

This is the beginning of the end for him and the conservatives.

With a minority government he would not have said stuff like this.

That's a very "none Canadian like" coment on his part.

They also kept it quiet because the Canadians at one point during the operation breached UN Peacekeeping protocol. Not that I disagreed with what they did because the protocol was/is absolutely idiotic.
