Hmmm..I admit, I went dumb.
So I apologize :p
In the end, economy is not for everyone I guess.
We just have some pie of it.
Oh well, at least we are being fed well.
Question is..how long ;-)

You've hit the nail on the head wolf.

Harper, Calderon and Bush may be all grins but it's not for our benefit.

Just listened to Harper discussing the summit on CBC, if he thinks it's the jellybean trade that has Canadians and Americans concerned about the SPP he's as big a moron as Bush. It's all a load of bull crap, they're going to do the standard song and dance about how everything is for the benefit of the people until the details come out and our lives are changed for the negative.

If this free trade is going to create specialized jobs such as in factories and manufacturing sector, I have absolutely no problem with it.

Backwater, Ontario.
No, not really.

And probably not.

Leaders meet "in secret" all the time. Very rarely are meetings of international heads of state open to the public.

Any serious legislative initiatives that arise from the meetings will have to be passed in the legislative bodies, where they will face full scrutiny.

Plus, the fears about a transference of power from the nation state to corporations are egregiously over-blown.
