It might be a step in the right direction, but without it allows the government to pat themselves on the back without looking at real issues like a basic standard of living. A 2006 LIE-beral report hidden until recently indicates they KNEW that their policy to discourage the building of low rise individual homes would drive up house costs! LIE-berals do not want you adding a basement apartment to your bungalow because you WONT SHARE YOUR GRAVY with LIE-beral Hogs-you will just take cash under the table! So its best to cram people into high rise buildings and its best for LIE-berals that they wont have to build new transit or new roads if they cram us together on existing streets-and too bad that poor people are squeezed out!

LIE-berals WANT US crammed into down town areas and condo builders do NOT want to rent out their costly to build high rise slums for crap money so rents are UP and welfare types are squeezed for housing costs-especially since welfare rates have NOT kept up with inflation. And thanks to LIE-beral manipulation of the numbers-we no longer have any idea what the inflation rate is!

Hydro rates have soared but the average renter in a building built before 1991 DOES NOT PAY directly for hydro so its left to landlords to be squeezed between what people can pay and what it costs to actually maintain one of those high rise slums! That`s why so many of them are ill-maintained ghettos!

Our property taxes on the edge of GTA are about DOUBLE what is paid in Toronto- and our taxes went up-on average 4.5 percent-NOT INCLUDING the increase due to the increased paper value of our homes! Its all very well to point out how much more a home can be sold for if you wanted to sell it but LIE-berals do not want to do the math on where you go and what you PAY- AFTER
you sell!

Water bills UP anther 5 percent as well. Food costs up for my main most frequently eaten because they are bargain items just jumped TWENTY PERCENT-with slightly smaller packages!

Its all LIE-berals robbing Peter to pay Paul and then stiffing Paul with the bills but Pauil wont find out what LIE-berals will do to him till AFTER the next election!
