Stop being such an idgit for once and listen to what I am saying.

Regardless of how well the economy is doing, it hasn't increased per capita wealth across the country, regardless of any provincial deficit or surplus.

This has nothing to do with federal transfers.

And that is not a fed issue. Clean up your provincial mess and investment will return. Who in their right mind would invest in a province that keeps sinking it's self deeper and deeper?

What good is a 'thriving' Canadian economy if it doesn't actually benefit Canadians?

it benifits Canadians that are willing to get out and work. Freeloaders perhaps not so much. Where I am right now there are around 2000workers all making well over $100G a year. That is just one small project. Could be many more projects happening if there were not so many rules and waits for permits and public meetings where every American wih a laptop can hold up job creation in Canada.

It has increased the wealth of everyone that is willing to work. And that is all that is important.

Why do you insist on talking about something that is completely different?

And actually, I was wrong.

Per capita wealth has gone up in Canada regardless of how the economy has performed.

It has gone up in Ontario in a population 3x the size of Alberta. If both populations were equal, Alberta would actually have a lower per capita value. Translation: You are still better off living in Ontario.

Also, this proves my main point that benefitting 'the economy' doesn't guarantee the substantial benefit that is advertised.

Feel free to dispute the fact that your energy strategy doesn't significantly improve Canadian per capita any way you like.
