An "American Internet security company" notes the issues of Canada's internet crime situation and has a lot to say about it and what we should do, meanwhile he points out about all the work the US has put into cracking down on internet crime........ But he also notes the US is still #1!

Obviously they didn't get it right yet and are still the worst, so where does this guy get off trying to pass all the worry onto Canada and other countries?

Perhaps when the US actually brings some #'s to show they're moving out of 1st place and down the rankings, he can come back and finger point at our problems.

Just a thought

just a question.....i wonder why in many countries, when they talk of something that needs a government attention, they are always or mostly based on American observation.....Is US really the international model for everything?

In Canada, because cybercrime crosses international borders, is the responsibility of the RCMP and they're no good at white collar crime. The RCMP has far too many duties in the vast federal bureaucracy and need a shakeup. Plus the courts don't like to punish white collar criminals either.
