Come on, do you really think the right wing press is an less hypocritical?

It's entertainment with with a tiny portion of "news" across the board.

Let us list some of the right wing hypocrites here.

Rush ‘drug addict’ Limbaugh (drug addiction)

Senator Larry ‘wide stance' Craig’: homosexuality

Bill ‘Las Vegas’ Bennett: gambling

Bill O’ Reilley: Sexual harassment

Mark Foley: abusing young boys

Newt ‘The Saint’ Gingrich: having sex with another woman while his wife was lying in the hospital sick.

And this does not include worthies like Ted Haggard, Jimmy Swaggart and many more.

That would be OK if the press was equally divided, but there is a lot more left wing press, Hell I had to pay extra to Bell expressVu during the elections to get another point of view:lol::lol:
And I kept it now for balance and yes.....entertainment;-)

Al Jazeera is Islamic version of FOX.

yeah, seen enough of it from their website. Sensationalist BS with an abundance of Zionist conspiracies.

I believe the Canadian version of Al Jazeera is separate from the ME version though. Apparently a former director of the CBC will be running the show there.

"AJE has more than 1,000 employees worldwide, including many Canadians. Tony Burman, former editor in chief of CBC News, is the current managing director of Al Jazeera English. He said the network aims to bring independent, impartial news to a global audience.

Let us list some of the Left-wing hypocrites:

Al Sharpton, who defended Tawna Brawly who accused an innocent man of rape.

Jesse Jackson, who not only is a tax cheat, but also a father of several little bastards.

John Edwards, who by the grace of God only did not become President/Vice President, who forced an underling to take the blame for his dalliances.

John Kennedy, who had a stable of wh0res while he was President.

Ted Kennedy, who let an innocent woman drawn in order to save his own miserable hide. In addition, he always firmluy opposed energy saving windmills, because they would ruin his view of the ocean. Also, he was the third party of a waitress sandwich with

Chris Dodd, one of the authors of the financial meltdown with sub-prime mortgages, along with

Barney Franks, who run a homosexual wh0rehouse.

Louis Farakkhan, who hates anyone not of African persuation.

And the list does not even include professional hate mongers like Keith Olbermann, Rachel Maddow, Katie Couric, Lawrence O'Donnell and Obama's spiritual advisors phony Catholic Father Phleger and that so-called Pastor who declared "G-d damn America".

blah blah blah blah

I love how worked up you get about people who have zero effect on you.

You would almost think that you were American... and an angry white one at that.

How does that make them hypocrites?

How does that make any of them hypocrites? But then as i have said many times, most conservatives don't even understand the concept of hypocrisy.

You are simply listing the misdeeds (as you perceive them) of Democratic politicians and calling that hypocrisy.

Avro wondered in response to my list of Left-wing hypocrites:

"...and the right have none?"

Avro, my post was in response to SirJosephPorter's list in his post #53 which you probably missed.

Then DurkaDurka opined, in his inimitable way:

"I love how worked up you get about people who have zero effect on you.

DurkaDurka, did it occur to you to ask SirJosephPorter a similar question? And just for curiosity, what does the colour of my skin have to do with my opinion? Or the list of Left-wing hypocrites I provided?

People who are offended by the term "teabagger" are being idiotic.

Maybe they should go and have a sit-down pee while I call a wambulance for them.

That in no way answered my question.

No, I didn't ask Sir J that question as posts tend not to be filled with the amount of hate as yours. Your skin colour has everything to do with your opinion or most of them anyways. Your thinly veiled disgust for minorities shines through on an almost daily basis.

Hypocrisy - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hypocrisy is the act of persistently professing beliefs, opinions, virtues, feelings, qualities, or standards that are inconsistent with one's actions. ...

The actions of the Left-wingers on my list in post #60, fit the definition to "T".

Quite so, YJ. So how are any of the people you listed (Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton etc.) hypocrites according to this definition?

I could easily demonstrate how Rush Limbaugh, Larry Craig, Newt Gingrich, Bill Bennett etc. are hypocrites according to this definition. You cannot do the same with Jackson, Sharpton etc.

Simply committing misdeeds does not make a person hypocrite, preaching one thing and doing something else does.

Food for thought.......

Why does it matter that Jeff Gannon may have been a gay hooker named James Guckert with a $20,000 defaulted court judgment against him? So he somehow got a job lobbing softball questions to the White House. Big deal. If he was already a prostitute, why not be one in the White House briefing room as well? This is the Conservative Republican Bush White House we're talking about. It's looking increasingly like they made a decision to allow a hooker to ask the President of the United States questions. They made a decision to give a man with an alias and no journalistic experience access to the West Wing of the White House on a "daily basis." They reportedly made a decision to give him - one of only six - access to documents, or information in those documents, that exposed a clandestine CIA operative. Say what you will about Monika Lewinsky - a tasteless episode, "inappropriate," whatever. Monika wasn't a gay prostitute running around the West Wing. What kind of leadership would let prostitutes roam the halls of the West Wing? What kind of war-time leadership can't find the same information that took bloggers only days to find? None of this is by accident. Someone had to make a decision to let all this happen. Who? Someone committed a crime in exposing Valerie Plame and now it appears a gay hooker may be right in the middle of all of it? Who? Ultimately, it is the hypocrisy that is such a challenge to grasp in this story. This is the same White House that ran for office on a constitutional amendment to ban gay marriage. While they are surrounded by gay hookers? While they use a gay hooker to write articles for their gay hating political base? While they use a gay hooker to destroy a political enemy? Not to mention the hypocrisy of a "reporter" who chooses to publish article after article defending the anti-gay religious-right point of view on gay civil rights issue. Who in the White House is at the center of all of this? Who allowed this to go on in the People's House? Who committed the crime of exposing Valerie Plame? Jeff Gannon has the answers to these questions, and boy we know he loves to talk. Let him talk to Patrick Fitzgerald. Here is the full story. Note the warning and caution at the top of the text...

Responding to posts # 65 and #66.

I have been thru this before: I AM Canadian, do not wish to be a citizen of any other country. At the same time, I am NOT a pseudo-patriot who can only take satisfaction of being a good Canadian by denigrating, bad-mouthing and ridiculing any and all other countries/nations, with special hatred for America.

These people seem to forget, that if it wasn't for America, the world would be a totally different place, with democracy, equal justice, free elections, freedom of speech, freedom of religion etc. under the control of an all-powerful goverment.

These people think that anyone who became a naturalized Canadian (in other words, EARNED citizenship, rather than by sheer dumb luck, born into it) who does not automatically despise the Yanks should be deported or stripped of citizenship.

Well, I am sorry, I am not going anywhere.

I DID work and lived in the States for six years, my employer asked me to apply for green card, but I told him that one citizenship change in one life time is about all I want to handle.

If I have sympathy for Americans maybe it is because I was always treated with respect by Americans, in the office, at border crossings or anytime I vacationed in the States.

These peole that always bring up my country of origin, my skin colour and they are have the nerve to call me a racist.
