Speaking generally, amount of pay is only one dimension of a job. Pay works in two directions, ie. you can earn more or spend less, works out pretty much the same in the long run. What use is there in earning a lot of money if you squander most of it? Whatever job you like doing, are good at and can get good results and satisfied customers is the best job. Physically demanding work can enhance your health. I could never be a doctor, not so much because I'm not smart enough, but more for the reason I'd be responsible for people's lives & I wouldn't be comfortable with announcing "hey buddy, get your sh*t in order, you have a week to live". Money in a situation like that is irrelevant!
Bread making is good for the soul too
Thanks for sharing your wisdom, always appreciated

I've shunned all types of employment my whole life that involves 'somebody getting hurt' if I have a bad day. I could never drive a Bus...be a Doctor...or First Responder...etc.

I prefer to work in the shipping industry. If I'm not on my 'A game', then somebody doesn't get their parcel that day. At least nobody dies.

I have a creative after-work life and wouldn't want a job that I have to take home with me.

Yes! I'm a shipper/receiver! That's the catch-all title for someone who isn't really good at anything. ;)

But at least nobody gets hurt if I have a lousy day. I like it that way.

Sounds like you are content, this is all that matters,
Simple is all you can ask for
School bus drivers amaze me,so brave!

School bus driving has fallen from the graces of importance, minimal pay, high risk!

Some of my best friends are shipper/receivers.

I belong to a Cargo Cult, you see and I'm always praying for a big shipment of something to turn up.
