U.S. Secretary of State Rice to visit Canada

Mike Blanchfield, CanWest News Service
Published: Tuesday, February 13, 2007

OTTAWA - As a prelude to a visit to Canada by U.S. President George W. Bush later this year, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice will visit Ottawa this month for meetings with Foreign Affairs Minister Peter MacKay.

Rice and U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff will be joined in Ottawa on Feb. 23 by their Mexican counterparts, for a day of talks with MacKay and Public Safety Minister Stockwell Day.

The meeting will be the latest installment of the three-way North American security and prosperity partnership and will set the table for a follow-up to last year's Three Amigos Summit in Cancun, Mexico, which will be held later this year, somewhere in Canada.

No date has been set for the summit, which U.S. officials said Monday could be pushed back to the fall.
The visit would be Bush's second to Canada.

The accord is intended to strengthen security co-operation between the three North American neighbours, while fostering co-operation on a wide range of trade and regulatory issues to safely speed the flow of goods between the three countries.

Hey Silky, we're home. With all of the commotion about the problems in the middle east I'll bet Condi has more focus on that than the SAP and right now. They are busier than a person missing a lower extremity in a kicking contest. But the monies are really getting pumped into this effort by the CFR members and their cronies now that we are getting the message out. They stand to make untold wealth if this crazy idea comes to fruition. At our expense too. The working people in all three countries can't afford to have this happen. If CFR does pull it off we all loose big time. If we stand our ground and get more opposition on board the chances of failure increase dramatically. The other issue that the White House is busy trying to downplay is the Scooter Libby trail for perjury. Both the Administration and the media are being made to look bad as a result of the information coming out of it. I'll bet Scooter just got a good promotion at Halliburton too for not testifying. Imagine sitting in the Federal Penitentiary making a six figure annual salary. It sure beats going to the office everyday.

Hey Norm: welcome back home. Yes you have parachuted into another fire here LOL (my smilies are gone : (.

Ran a cross another great article today, nothing new to me or you, however, the best and most concise article I have read so far about the current milieu and explanation of NAU, the article is best viewed from his site because of volumes of embedded links (I added only a few for this post) that gives a clearer understanding to validate the gravity of the issues unfolding, agressively since 2000, and of course, a slow methological stepping stone approach during the last century. But for now, the following is easy to skim through. Good to have you back Norm, how do you like Austrailians? I'm thinking of making a trip there this year.

North American Union would be terrible mistake: D.A.’s Marietta Daily Journal column today

Posted by D.A. King at 1:25 pm

The column below ran in today’s Marietta Daily Journal. I have added some hyperlinks to educate the reader.

North American Union would be terrible mistake

D.A. King
Columnist
February 15, 2007

“There shall be open borders”
- A recurring 1984 proposal promoted by the Wall Street Journal for a five-word amendment to the Constitution.

“By nominating me, my party has made a choice to welcome the new America”.
- Presidential candidate George W. Bush in a 2000 campaign speech on Latin America in Miami.

As someone who studies our intentional lack of border security and the resulting terror threat and illegal immigration crisis in the new America of the Bush administration, the most common question I hear after people begin to suspect that the president of the United States has no intention of securing American borders - Sept. 11, 2001, be damned - is natural enough: “Why?”

Why would the president - and a large part of Congress - refuse do everything possible to stop what a 2006 House Committee on Homeland Security report estimated to be somewhere between four and ten million illegal and uninspected border crossings in 2005 alone?

Why is there no effective and enforced removal program in place to ensure that visa holders leave the country when their visas expire? Visa overstays represent more than 40 percent of the more than 20 million illegal aliens in the same nation in which the president issued the call for us to “be vigilant” in November 2001.

The partial answer to the “why?” question is that the president is kneeling before the American business lobby, which is unwavering in its demand for continued access to the taxpayer subsidized illegal labor from Mexico. Others in elected power view the uncaught undocumented border crossers as willing future constituents - and the corporate funded, increasingly militant far-left ethnic lobby howls “racism” in a calculated and successful offensive defense of the uninterrupted supply of resentful victims of geography needed to expand the entitlements and political power on which it feeds.

These well-funded interest groups benefit from our virtually open borders and would profit significantly and quickly from a repeat of the path to citizenship granted to illegal aliens in 1986. They would all suffer from a return to a nation governed by the rule of law defined by well-defended borders and a common language.

It is past time that the readers of this space begin to hear about the rest of the answer: A larger plan and goal to create an EU-like North American Union by “integrating” the economies and the infrastructures of the United States, Canada, and that paradise to our south whose most notable exports are drugs and people - Mexico. A borderless continental super-state devoted to the lowest possible wages and maximized profits through the free flow of goods, services and people. Target date? 2010.

Essential actions for implementation? Amnesty - again - and the melding of the Mexican and American Social Security systems.

It is easy to imagine the looks of skepticism on the faces of the readers hearing this for the first time. It seems that the blueprint for the “integration of North America” detailed in the 2005 Council on Foreign Relations report “Building a North American Community,” promulgated in countless think tanks and taught and promoted in many universities - including Emory - has failed to qualify as news to the huge majority of the mainstream media.

*A coming Mexican customs office in Kansas City?

* Predictions from financial analysts that the struggling dollar could be replaced with the “Amero” as a common continental currency?

* A proposed Permanent Tribunal on Trade and Investment to lay the groundwork for North American business law - and a March 2005 announcement of a trilateral Security and Prosperity Partnership? No news here?

Far too many reporters, editors and radio talk show hosts either haven’t done their homework or are willing to meekly sidestep the terrible truth in fear of being labeled “conspiracy nuts” are complicit in the “un-reporting” of what most Americans would regard as the story of the century.

You’ll read more on this fantastic scheme here in the future, but for now, I think U.S. Sen. Johnny Isakson (R-East Cobb) has reflected the opinion of most Americans on this whole enchilada in his statement to this column on the possibility of a North American Union:

“The United States for over 220 years has enjoyed the freedoms and responsibilities of an independent nation. We have served as a beacon to the world of the glories of a democratic republic. To allow our country to participate in a rumored ‘North American Union’ would take away our sovereignty and place an undue burden on the citizens of America.

“It would be a terrible mistake for the U.S. government to engage in any proposal that would diminish our independence or lessen our strength. I wholeheartedly oppose any such effort.”

Thank you, Senator Isakson. What do you think, dear reader?

Hey Silky, The Aussies are great people and I'd recommend a trip but not the way we went. Their economy is good, they have a fierce national pride and are sure wary of any outside interference with their way of life. We worked with the New Zealanders too and the same for them. But NZ is a strong Socialist goverenment system. Very freindly to visitors I hear. AZ hasn't had much of a winter so I expect we'll be visiting your area pretty soon. The first stick of Jumpers heads to Silver City, NM in three weeks. Another to Marana too. Boy the House sure fired a salvo at Bush. But the fiesty little
man doesn't want to hear any of it. Believe me, the CFR is really pushing this SPP thing hard. Now they are visiting the Canadians (nice of them to do so after four years of secret meetings held in Washington, DC) and I just hope the outcry from the Canadians is heard around the world. The Mexicans just can't wait to have this happen and if it does it gives them more pocket books to raid. That is a corruption rampant system of government down there and I always expect some top level candidate to be assassinated during their national elections. Neither Canada or the US needs that kind of atmosphere. I now find there are two more NAFTA Super Highway Foreign Customs sites and I'll have to check on the specific locations. Now there is a frenzy to get the Free Trade Americas Agreement (FTAA) passed which is just one more step completed towards accomplishing the SPP goal. It is all done quietly, without much fanfare and with the hope that it won't be noticed in a negative way until they spring the DEAL on all of us. The old addage of, "How can you tell when a polictican is lying?" and the answer is "Just watch their lips. Every time they more another lie comes out." Well I think it now is adequately describing what both Canada and the US citizens are seeing coming from the elected representatives who rather than do the business of the people are giving the business to the people. SAD.

Hey Norm, thanks for the info on the Aussies and NZ. I admire their fierce national pride and commitment to keep outside interference in check, sounds like my kind of place. We are thinking about a 2 month visit just for some nostalgic warm reminders what America used to be.

My husband and I had a good laugh today thinking how busy the bush bunch is in Washington trying to keep a straight face while weaving the web. Chertoff is in mexico talking about the bright economic horizon in mexico's future. Correct me if I'm wrong, he is suppose to do the homeland security stuff right? Which he and his department have failed miserably. The accounting procedures are so messed up it makes the taxpayer want to throw up.

Speaking of that, did you ever hear what happened to the missing 2.3 TRILLION dollars that Rumsfeld announced the DOD couldn't account for ... on September 10, 2001? The next day, the Pentagon gets hit by a phantom plane right in the section that houses the accounting records ... who writes this stuff?
Starting to research 9/11, and I'm knee deep in DVDs. The deeper I go the darker it gets, and each day another tear falls on the laptop.

If you're going to be in this area in the next couple of months , we would like to take you to dinner. Below are some good articles. The one I posted last (above) by DA King about NAU is very good.

Declassified in 1974'ish...

You got us..we're busted:laughing7:

War Plan Red was a military document outlining a theoretical war between the United States and the British Empire (the "Red" forces). It was developed by the United States Army during the mid 1920s, and was officially withdrawn in 1939, when it and others like it were replaced by the five "Rainbow" plans created to deal with the Axis threat.
The war was intended to be a continental war, waged primarily on North American territory between the United States and Canada, the latter nation a member of the British Commonwealth. The assumption was that Canada would represent the ideal geographic forum through which the British could wage war against the United States.
There is some debate over whether the plan was actually meant to be put into action. Although an Anglo-American war had been a real possibility during the late 19th century, the likelihood of this declined substantially following the turn of the century. The amicable negotiations of the tense Venezuela-British Guiana border dispute, the Hay-Pauncefote Treaty, the establishment of the International Joint Commission, and the Washington Naval Treaty are examples of the increasingly close U.S.-Canadian relationship during this period. War Plan Red is notably generalized and lacking in detail, indicating its low priority in the planners' eyes.
War Plan Red is only one of a number of U.S. Color-coded War Plans developed at this time. Many of these plans address highly speculative scenarios, since heavily focusing plans on specific countries like Germany would have appeared militaristic and aroused domestic opposition.
War Plan Red was declassified in 1974, and caused a stir in American-Canadian relations; Canada, named "Crimson" in the plans, was to have been the principal target of American forces. Additionally, the UK was "Red," India "Ruby," and Australia/New Zealand were "Scarlet."

Interesting article Thom:

The Color-coded War Plans is new to me, I found the Rainbow War Plan White ... dealt with a domestic uprising in the US, and later evolved to Operation Garden Plot, the general US military plan for civil disturbances and peaceful protests. Parts of War Plan White were used to deal with the Bonus Expeditionary Force in 1932. Communist insurgents were considered the most likely threat by the authors of War Plan White. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Garden_Plot

Seems like our govternment is brushing up on the techniques for the War Plan White.

I see you have a Texas avatar, are you from TX? If so, what are your thoughts about the Trans Texas Corridor?

Hey Silky and all,
Forgive me. I took a couple of days to get past the jet lag. I did some research too about theis SPP and it's roots. I didn't realize that the Coucil of Foreigh relations was as deepseated as it now appears to be. It is comprised of many members from around the globe who are frequently associated with Secret Societies like the Skull & Bones, Illuminati and so forth. 74 of the 80 US officials present at the formation and signing of the agreemnt to form the United nations held in san Francisco were CFR members. The UN formation documents which contiue in force today are written by CFR members. While the current Bush president is not a member his father and one brother are as well ass his entire cabinet. My interst is that when it became a topic of discussion during this man's candidacy fopr the POTUS his Skull & Bones membership was an issue. Later, he wrote a book and the only reference he made about this Secret Society was, "Yes, I am a member of Skull & Bones, a very Secret Society. It is so secret I can't discuss it any further." Now that gets my attention. In my earlier life I was a commissioned officer and when the Vietnam war became so apparent to me to be a futile effort and for what? I resigned that commission. Not because of my fear of war of r the battlefield. But rather due to my total dislike and sense of outrage at LBJ and his group of White House nit wits. One tennant od=f a commission is you will never speak poorly about the Commander in Chief. In my book we had a Secret Society in there then and still do. Robert McNamara was only the tip of the iceberg. His later writtings and published book of memoirs sickened me further. Enough of my rant. Tjis entire SPP idea stems from the CFR and other Secret Societies in this world and it is now my belief that the US is run by people who we never see, names we've never heard of and some we've never voted for. the Electoral College system is just another deception on us too. The good Canadian peoples and also those from Mexico have got to understand we are all in this together and we are nothing but pawns for this great closed group. Even many who are members of those secret groups probably don't realize there is a very close, tightly knit inner circle that is so inconspicous that it is never noticed and that is the inner circle of a few who dictate what does go on in the entire world. We are all watching the US administration's propaganda machine winding up now with stories to vilify Iran and other nations. Why? Maybe they all are a part of the great power grab. remember, for those of you old enough to have experienced it. Hiltler's grab for power began long before Hindenburg's death. It was subtle and then lightning fast and in pite of the opposition many good caring citizen's supported huis position not because they knew the facts but rather becasue it offered them hope and a chance to rebuild their bankrupted nation. The restrictions and demands made by the Treaty ending World war I were devastating to the German economy. Who wrote that Treaty and include those harsh terms? Why four CFR members of course!

I'm baaaack!! I just arrived home to find good news. the Utah legislature passeda unanimous resolution agaist the SPP and now the legislatures in Colorado, New Mexico, Wyoming, Mississippi, Alabama and Kentucky have simiarly worded resoultions introdcued. But the CFR just keeps acting like Chameleon it is trying to be. Now there is a the new group on the net and it is NORTHCOM and it is the same old faces with new lipstick on the pig. I also was told that the Mexiocan represenatative has told the US backers that for it to be even "remotely successful" there has be a near equality with the US and Mexican currency. His name id Aspe and he also mentioned that the EU was formed out of necseeity and when four of the member nations were nearing a fiscal crisis. He wants a "deepened economic integration" before he will give it any possibilty of succeeding. the proponents don't care about success. They want the money control and the natural resources wealth. Success to them is measured in personal gain. Look at Dick Cheney and his minions. They are wealthy but all have one foot in the grave. Maybe we''ll get lucky and age infirmities may solve this for us.

Welcome back. Yes it is encouraging to now see 14 states opposing NAU, aka NAC, and SPP.

I cam across a very enlighting video the other day, a must see about how the EU was set up: :happy1:
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=62612529763293088

Another good video in an interview format with Jerome Corsi:
http://video.google.ca/videoplay?docid=-5581854975245721437&q=North+American+Union

As you mentioned, there is some movement in the states to stop the SPP:cheers:

Resolutions opposing the North American Union have also been introduced in Idaho, Oklahoma, and Tennessee. This brings the state total to 14.

If there is someone who thinks the CFR is not behind in the shadows drafting a blueprint, just go to their site and download the PFD formatted: Building a North American Community, the plan is all laid out in detail, an easy read and well worthwhile: http://www.cfr.org/publication/8102/#top

Listen to Straight Talk host Jerry Hughs' 1/22/07 interview
with Daneen Peterson, Ph.d.:
http://www.stopthenorthamericanunion.com/RadioTV.html

Download a timeline of the history and development of the NAU,
found at the American Deception website:
http://americandeception.com/index.php?page=usercat&catid=8
scroll down to the document titled "Emerging North American Union"

IF YOU VIEW ALL THE ABOVE, YOU WILL BE BUSY FOR SOME TIME ;-)
For the past month, I have been researching 911, the deeper I go ... the darker and danker it gets.

Silky,
That is all great information and it sure does all ring a bell to me. Now the new concerns are that the US Maritime Ship Building industry is going to be slowly eased out of the military vessel business in favor of the finanacial advisors suggestions to "Spread Out the business to foreign builders." Why? Maybe we want to give more US jobs away so the levels of the US economy can drop some more? That is all part of this what I believe to be ill fated grand plan. The proponents are all unbelievably wealthy and they don't give a darn about how any of us in North America are affeceted by what I view as a bigger grab for control and power. I'm now getting the feeling the current slump in the US housing price market is another orchestrated event designed to get more attention on a fact as a decoy while the real monkey business goes on unnoticed. The current furor about the firing of the US Attorney's is nothing new. Those attorneys are all political appointees. It truly isn't a "firing" but rather a termination of that appointment under the "Spoils System" so another person who has done some political favors can be rewarded. Some othre words that come to mind are graft, payoff or influence.

They should have given Canada a color designation of "Nantucket Red".

NAFTA is merely a stepping stone like the Trilateral in '73', CAFTA, and all Free Trade Agreements that our government has so egregiously embraced and signed. That has been the center of global interdependence which is the elite's aim, by producing more products and services, consumers and businesses pay banks interest, taxes, and corporations gain more profit. Those entities become more powerful and the worker bees have less say in how their government is creating policy directed by corporation interest. It is the road to fascism.

Empires no longer have new lands to claim, so they will just redistribute and recycle the citizens of their nations. We are all on a very precarious road right now, the US middle class is being emasculated in the interest of the redistribution of wealth to 3rd world nations while governments and corporations become even more powerful each day.

In order for our government and the globalist to pull off continental consolidation and loss of sovereignty, 911 was created or allowed to happen because it is a psy-opt operation of cognitive dissonance. Transforming our reality from one foundation to another. All the same procedures are taking place now that has happen before particulary Nazi Germany.

IT IS TIME FOR THE CITIZENS OF THE UNITED STATES TO TAKE THEIR COUNTRY BACK.

Silky,
If we thought that NAFTA and CAFTA created a path wait until the new FTAA gets approved. I never really payed any attention to Ross Perot years ago when he stated in his presidential nomination bid about the US jiobs being taken elsewhere. He was dead right and now the Canadian jobs are going to go the same way if this all is allowed to occur. I see where the state of Washington is having some real discussions in their legislature about this very issue. Now that Boeing is moving the corporate offices to Chicago there is a concern about where the assembly jobs go if deals are cut off-shore. The Halliburton move to Dibai is just the first of many major US copoprations doing the same thing. Why not? There is nothing stopping them and they (the top managers can still live here) won't have to worry about the ever increasing US taxes. I have wondered for years when the issues of health and extended care would surface. Now those topics are rapidly becoming political issues too and I'll bet you a dollar to donuts that if anything is adopted the costs will be piled on the backs of the shrinking American middle class. The CFR is now calling their propsal the North Amercian Union (NAU) and that signals to me that they are getting very nervous as more people on the North American continent become aware of the game plan. This is supposed to be accomplished smoothly, quietly, behind closed doors and the game plan isn't working. The farther we get into this the more intriguing it gets. I'll bet the Attorney's issue is another smoke screen to mask more covert operations.

I haven't really addressed the 911 demolition issue on this site so at the bottom of this message you'll find some good start-off videos if you haven't already researched the topic yourself. It's deep, dark, and dank.

Will touch base later.

THE COVER UP EXPOSED BY THE 9/11 FAMILIES.

Following the attacks of September 11th, a small group of grieving families waged a tenacious ... battle against those who sought to bury the truth about the event -- including, to their amazement, President Bush. In '9/11 PRESS FOR TRUTH', six of them, including three of the famous "Jersey Girls", tell for the first time the powerful story of how they took on the greatest powers in Washington -- and won! -- compelling an investigation, only to subsequently watch the 9/11 Commission fail in answering most of their questions.

Adapting Paul Thompson's definitive Complete 9/11 Timeline (published by HarperCollins as 'The Terror Timeline'), the filmmakers collaborate with documentary veterans Globalvision ('WMD: Weapons of Mass Deception', 'Beyond JFK') to stich together rare overlooked news clips, buried stories, and government press conferences, revealing a pattern of official lies, deception and spin. As a result, a very different picture of 9/11 emerges, one that raises new and more pressing questions.**
