It reminds me of when Boris Yelstin was caught on camera snapping a sectarys bra. lol.

But I just think Bush just doesn't understand the world. I'm amazed that Americans or any free people would chose such a moron to be their leader. Come on this guy almost died his first year from eatting a pretzel!!!

I'm not a Bush supporter but I do know most underestimate him. Watching the last pre-election debate series between Bush and Kerry, I was surprised: it was obvious to me, although the media differed, that Bush had bested his opponent. He had clearly beaten who was supposed to have been his intellectual better.

Welcome to the land where the one-eyed are king.

I don't care what anyone says. I have seen enough video evidence from the past 20 years to show me he is truly just a red neck.

Now I don't have a big problem with Right wingers, socialists, conservatives, Social Democrats and so on. If Bush actually had a brain I could understand why people voted for him. I just can't believe that the USA has gone the way of India in a sence were the name means more then the person!

Bush is no intellectual as some may wish to cry out from his education.

Look at all the things he has said and done, look at how he acts and the things he has done, his adminations. I don't care how the right wing may spin his admin, but this guy has been a complete failure economically, politically and diplomatically.

Look Steven Harper maybe the same type of conservative, the type coming from the Christian right and not the libertairian right, with many of the same personal views. But everyone can see Harper has a head on him.

Well I'm finished complaining about bush and please do see I'm not doing it because I'm left, right or centre, just because I can't believe how the American ppl have become. It is sad that the USA's next president may be a Clinton or a Bush... Truly there are millions more quilified then either the next Clinton or Bush, but it is no longer about quilifications but of name and dynasty.

edit:
Colpy, all kidding aside... you are not a blind nor dumb man. You do not have your head in a hole. You have seen what Bush has done as a President, as a Governor as a business man, and a drunk before that.

The funniest thing about that little video is how some of the American conservatives have reacted on other boards. They're convinced that he was doing something nice for her, and that if you look closely you can see her smiling at the end.

Too funny. :p

However, I don't think the title that the media has given this incident is correct. Imo, he wasn't molesting her, just being himself - completely out of touch with what sort of behaviour is appropriate in a given situation. In other words, a maroon.

He's just one of those touchy/feely types that most men can't stand being around. Politicians do not count as human, so such actions seem normal to them.

I tend to agree with neone

This lady is a head of state. Where does Bush think he has the right to put his hands on her. Bush is a dolt...or if you will,...a maroon. :p

I agree. She did not expect it, nor does it appear she
liked it. Her Civilized smile towards the end means she's no maroone about it either and doesn't want to make any
more of what it is or what it was.

But I also saw the Kerry-Bush debates, and neither bested
each other. Both were their own worst enemies.

Kerry is a pretentious voice from God trying to imitate
the cadence and profundity of a John F Kennedy or
a Robert F Kennedy, and in that he'll always be an
insufferable bore. On top of that, you can never be
sure nor can he be sure about his own self where he
stands.

If you can get past Bush's moments of stymied
desperation to find the right word, you know this
guy is simplistic and unchangeable in his beliefs.

As for Bush molesting Merkel, suppose it had been Clinton or some other Dem who did that? What would the controlled reich wing media say??????

The different is Merkal would have been a member of of the SDP the next day and Clinton would have a really big bra on his war stand! lmao gotta love Clinton.

G.W.Bush Jr reminds me of Yeltsin so much.. the guy seems to be able to do everything wrong and because of the political situation he can get away with it.

Well we all know what Bush was thinking. He's like "This chick is the new Conservative leader of Germany, she worships my conservative views and it will make for a good pic opp in both our nations to see how close Germany and the USA are. Instead he made himself look like bafoon.

I'm sorry but if for instance, Jack Layton walked up to a leader of another nation like that I'd say the same thing! G.W. Bush Jr I'm sorry to say is a joke. It's sad that a great democracy like the USA can't chose leaders from merit but from name reg. I will be so pissed off if the next president is going to be another Bush or Clinton!
