Ok, I made the wrong call on this one but there's a first for everything :)

While the Ontario PCs fumbled education, Covid seems to have moved them a little closer to the center and they've found a way to garner the favour of more voters that their federal counterparts will keep a close eye on if they want a majority as well.

An embarrassing show for the Lieberals. They failed to even take back leader of the opposition. And their leader didn't even get his seat.

It could be considered an embarassment for the NDP as well, but it's clear that the PCs are catering to voters from the left now.

It makes sense that they are brandishing themselves as a uniting party when you look at the real numbers lol

The old argument that the NDP & Libs use about how scary the PCs are failed to resonate with voters this time out basically because they didn't really offer anything that made them unique aside from fighting the evil PCs. Yes the NDP was disappointing in a way but when the traditional 3rd place party finishes 2nd it is still sort of positive.

So vote in a Conservative government that spends like the Liberals.
Hmmm, an actual platform vs Del Puka's convoluted 19 point plan to put an extra $1000 in your pocket while somehow paying for $1 transit vs Whoresbath's usual platform of a laundry list of empty promises and shrill whining. If you support the party system I guess it's an easy choice.

Or socialism.
