AN IDIOT ABROAD 3



In comedy travel series An Idiot Abroad 3 (2012), miserable but hilarious globetrotter Karl Pilkington returns, but whereas in the two previous series where he travelled the world alone (if you don't count the TV crew) this time he has a little companion - Warwick Davis.

Davis, another of Ricky Gervais's mates, is a dwarf. He's also an actor who appeared as an ewok in Return of the Jedi and has appeared in all eight Harry Potter films.

In this series, the duo loosely recreate Marco Polo's 13th Century journey from Venice to China. Karl initially doesn't like the idea of Warwick tagging along - calling him "a limpet"! - but the pair eventually grow close.

Episode 1



Karl and Warwick start their epic journey in Venice where they feed the pigeons and eat ice creams. They go to a costume shop where they dress up for a masquerade ball later than day. They then travel to Macedonia to spend time with some Roma, but they witness a shocking event at a Sufi religious ceremony.

Episode 2



The pair arrive in India where they take part in a Bollywood film, cruise the Ganges and perform as clowns at a circus. They also meet conjoined twins the Spider Sisters, although Warwick isn't too pleased about that.

Episode 3



The pair now arrive in China for the last leg of their journey, where they cruise the Yangtze River and dress up as pandas to meet pandas. They also have their ears cleaned and Karl "treats" Warwick to some local delicacy. They climb the steps of Mount Emei, one of the four sacred Buddhist mountains. Rounding out the trip, they take a ferryboat from Hong Kong to Macau, where one of them - but which? - takes part in a controlled bungee jump.

One Foot In the Grave



Classic BBC sitcom which ran from 1990 to 2000, voted one of the UK's best-loved sitcoms.

It features the exploits and mishaps of irascible pensioner Victor Meldrew, who after being forced to retire from his job as a security guard, finds himself at war with the world and everything in it. Meldrew, cursed with misfortune and always complaining, is married to long-suffering wife Margaret, who is often left exasperated by his many misfortunes.


Only a Story

Victor and Margaret invite Mrs Warboys to stay at their house until her flooded flat dries out. However, they soon come to regret their generous offer as she begins taking over the entire household.

Rearranging The Dust
