''I'm not sure what that has to do with abiding by Canadian law ''

Here's a hint: it shows what can happen when society fails to keep an open mind.

Sorry..... allowing a known terrorist sympathiser into Canada is not "keeping an open mind".

Allowing a murderer like Bush isn't any smarter.

Then I guess you dumb turds south of the 49th should have done something about him....... but....ya'll voted him into power....twice...... so I would say the blame lands firmly at YOUR feet as an american....... best to keep quiet at this point so you don't risk choking on both your feet in your mouth.

A related point:

COST OF AFGHANISTAN MISSION COULD REACH $ 11.3b, GOVERNMENT SAYS

Cost of Afghanistan mission could reach $11.3B, government says

As the article suggests, those costs can change.

But what I found really interesting was the following comment:

''Here we are sending our young people to support a Corrupt President who is one of the worlds biggest drug dealers and liars. A puppet like NATO of Our young people dying for a people who don't want us to occupy their country.

Our young people need support in Canada. Bring our troops home.

Shame on this Reform Party under the cloak of being Conservative. They are a shame to everything that is Canadian''

and,

''11.3 billion dollars. That's only the tip of the iceberg. What about 108 human lives sacrificed? FIGURES LIE AND LIARS FIGURE''

''Paid by our tax dollars to murder! Go figure!''

Yup. It appears that contrary to the Canadian right wingers on this forum, a good many of you folks up north have a different view than blindly supporting Washington, DC's plan of world conquest and destruction. Indeed, the Canadians I have known both in NYC and here in Gopherland would share the viewpoints expressed above. And, of course, you all know that the vast majority of Americans feel the same way.

''it was the jews...''

Not even close. In fact, we have previously discussed on this forum the fact that the majority of USA Jews vote Democrat.

Well then, I guess the american voters have to take responsibility for electing baby bush....you are an american voter aren't you?

Americans are ignorant of the truth. That's why so many initally endorsed Bush's war while MILLIONS of people in Europe marched in protest against the war from the beginning. If Americans would only get the truth from the controlled reich wing media, as Europeans do from their media, they would never endorse Bush's war or support Zionist campaigns against Palestinians.

LOL.... ya....ok..... so...what does this have to do with Canada's right, as an independant and free nation, to decide to keep galoways sorry a$$ out of Canada?

'sorry a$$ ' to you, hero to many more

Sill haven't answered the question...... why should Canada, as an independant and free nation allow him in? He has broken Canadian law. Are you saying that Canada shouldn't have the right to make and enforce it's own laws?

What big deal???

We're exchanging ideas, aren't we???

I'm glad that you see that it is Canada's right to decide who can and can not enter Canada, and that it's not a big deal that galloway is being refused entry. That should pretty well put this thread to rest.
