I notice they speak English, have Elizabeth II as Queen, have Westminster style parliamentary democracy, live in towns and cities founded by the British with names like Wellington and Nelson and Blenheim and Hastings and enjoy watching and playing rugby and cricket.
And yet, despite all that, we have gormless morons trying to insult my intelligence by telling me that the British Empire had nothing to do with the founding of New Zealand as a nation state - a country which has the Union Jack in its flag.
And they enjoy skating on the canals in the winter.

Britain would not have had enough ventilators if it was still in the EU.

Britain tells the EU it will NOT extend the Brexit transition period. Piers Morgan interviews Helen Whately. Fake news mainstream media criticise care minister. Trump freezes funding for World Health Organisation.

#Italy #Italexit #EuropeanUnion

Well, who'd put money on Italy remaining a part of the eurozone or even the EU right now? I wouldn’t!

Doesn’t all that talk of EU unity sound so 2019 right now?

During the whole Brexit thing the likes of Juncker, Tusk, Verhostadt and Barnier talking about how solid the EU and eurozone were.

All echoed by our very own home-grown Remainiacs like Clarke, Hammond, Clegg, Blair and the rest - remember them?

All fading nightmare memories now, of course.

The EU27 is as one, they claim - until the brown stuff hits the circulating air redistributer.

And this global health crisis has provided the brown stuff and the eurozone and EU response has provided the fan.

It's lost nearly 4% against the dollar in a year.

What makes me laugh is the economically illiterate Remainers who point out that because the pound and euro are almost the same, Britain may as well have adopted the euro, because we have basically the same currency anyway.

No, guys. That's not how it works. Eurozone countries have their interest rates and other things set by the ECB in Germanyvto always benefit Germany, whereas Britain controls her own currency, setting her own interest rates to suit the British economy.

UK and EU trade negotiators are due to sit down next Monday to re-start the Brexit negotiations, but what will they be talking about?

Looks like the trade talks cards are falling in favour of the UK government.

The UK Prime Minister has given the green light for the UK to start formal trade negotiation with the US.

And the talks could start as early as this coming Wednesday with reports coming in that the US president is gagging to get a deal done before the presidential elections in November.

But not only that, we now have the EU negotiators coming to the realisation that there will be no Brexit implementation period extension and that if they want to keep selling into the UK they need to do a proper deal - not try and foist EU membership on us via a back door level playing field.

On the UK/US trade deal, the Sun reports that the first round of talks will be between our International Trade Secretary Liz Truss and her US counterpart Robert Lighthizer. Talks will start using teleconferencing on Wednesday and last two weeks.
