I think that this cryptocurrency is all a setup ....

The higher the price, the more historic or spectacular the fall. A collapse of BitCoin will discourage any further investments into Crypto money in the future and which is exactly what financial institutions desire.

I purchased a thousand CloudCoins about 3 months ago for 100 bucks (3 cents each) and today they are valued at 9 cents.

My nephew purchased 500 bucks of EthereumCoins in June and if he cashed out today he would get 11 hundred bucks.

The problem with BitCoin is that the blockchain data is stored on thousands of computers and takes forever to transact.

CloudCoin works with images and transactions take a nano second to complete

Is the cloudcoin the same where everyone can join in the transaction computation ?

Now that it's traded on the futures market, the bankers can play it just like they have been busted doing with gold and silver and everything else.

So watch for the gigantic pump and dump

Too bad you can't short bitcoin

Maybe you're right. I don't know, so I can't say either way. All I'll say is that I won't invest in anything I don't understand at least at a basic level.

Bitcoin's only underlying value is the intrinsic value of the currency that was used to buy it

Everyone is allowed to set up a blockchain and participate in bitcoin’s computation and earn from it. Is it the same with cloudcoin

One bitcoin = 16500.01 US Dollar today

Hi! Angstrom

That is the whole problem with Bitcoin. Bits or parts of the BlockChain is stored on so many computers that it takes hours and hours to complete a transaction.

For any CryptoCurrency to succeed, all transactions need to happen instantly.

Also, something very fishie about BitCoin .... 80% of the coins are owned by Japanese as a place to hold foreign currencies. Plus; there are only 2 main BitCoin exchanges. Very easy to manipulate pricing because one Coin is only worth what another is willing to pay for it. Thus; if one exchange asks the other to buy one coin for a 20% increase in price and the other exchange agrees, results in the inflation or gains of value. The next day, the roles could easily be reversed between the two exchanges, resulting in yet another increase in coin valuation.

So you can’t participate in cloudcoin then ok

If I knew for sure that it was a scam, I'd propose that the government consider criminalizing that scam. Since I don't know for sure, I won't propose that but just say best of luck to those who do invest in it.

It it weren't a scam, it would have gone fractional.

Hi! Angstrom

Oh! Thanks for the clarification.

No. I don't think CloudCoin is into "Participation". I really don't investigate CloudCoin too much. I just spent/invested a hundred bucks, sort of like the price of going to a Bingo. I am really not in it for the long haul. I follow updates as to what is happening coporately, but not the inner workings. I expect an ICO within a few months. They just hired a public relations company and it took Cloud Coin as payment. Meaning that the PR firm is invested in CloudCoin's success.

In 3 months I tripled my money. Spent 100 and now worth 300. That is all I really care about.

I chose Cloud Coin because the transactions are instant.
