You think so? Got numbers?

Do you have numbers for smallpox? When you give them, I will give you a few stats that will add to the stress levels that cause such pigheadedness.

Are you serious? You're THAT brainwashed?

Of course I am serious. Only terminal stupidity could question my statement.

Fact Vs speulation....who will rise to the top?

300 - 500 million. Will that many truly perish if it's 1C warmer?

Far bigger and, as far as humans are concerned, permanent. Not something to recover from in a century or so. And with none of the technological advances that the Black Death brought and the improvements to living conditions for the survivors.

So you can see the future? *IF* what you conjecture is true, how do you not know it won't lead to a technological breakthrough? Invention usually goes hand in hand with need.

If it's permanent how will carbon credits reverse it?

How is this seeing the future? The laws of physics dictate what will happen.

What technological breakthrough do you think might happen. Not one that will end this since it is already too late for that. The reason that America did nothing is that Bush thought that good lod American know-how would lead to technological answers. It did not. Bush actually accepted the science but was too arrogant to do what was needed.

Invention follows need. It does not obviate need.

If it's permanent how will carbon credits reverse it?

That should be rather obvious. They are for the purpose of preventing it from becoming permanent. I also said permanent as far as humanity is concerned. A few hundred thousand years is as permanent as we can think of and that is what it will be if we allow the warming to become runaway. If we do not use carbon credits and every other option that we can think of.

Would you like to buy some carbon credits? I'm sitting on 4500 of them for this years crop but nobody wants to buy them.
