"Not only to Hitler, Serryah, he has been compared to Stalin, to Mao, to Pol Pot, to just about every despicable character around. I don’t know if any of the extreme right wingnuts have compared him to Osama Ben Laden, but it wouldn’t’ surprise me if they have."

As has GW Bush.

Only by the far more numerous and far more rabid LEFT-WING nutbars. And let us not forget the most favourite image of Bush by the oh, so tolerant liberals: Hitler. You know, Bush with moustache.

That particular lady (asshat in your estimation) will never vote Democrat again. And perhaps thousands of others who take umbrage to the insolance of a political (and actual) pimp.

Come on YJ, you know better than that. When do you think that ‘lady’ voted for a Democrat? My guess is never. She is probably part of the lunatic far right Republican base, who feels frustrated that her party cannot defeat an infidel such as Franks and replace him with God’s candidate (someone like Joan of Arc or Mark Sanford). There is no way she was going to vote for Franks. The same applies to the others who supported the ‘lady’. They came to the Town Hall, not to discuss, debate, to exchange ideas, but to yell, shout, scream and shut the meeting down. Franks dealt with her properly.

As do us that shut down your asinine comments, and shoot down your stupidity ad nauseum. Only we use facts, not hyperbole, like you.

Funny, you and the lady from the video, have a lot in common.

"No, I think you tread close to that label, by using words like pimp to describe someone whom with you ideologically disagree."

I referred to him as PIMP, because his actions condemn him to be just that.

Sure they do, YJ. So do Obama’s actions. I am sure you think he is worse than Franks, so presumably he is worse than a pimp. Same goes for Hillary, for Nancy Pelosi, they are also pimps (incidentally, what is the female for pimp?).

To you ,any politician you disagree with is a pimp (or worse than a pimp).

It's funny you should say that with such contempt and certainty. Because anyone you disagree with is a poodle, a troll or a rightwingnutjob.

Here's a challenge Link, why don't you try and refute what's been said about Franks?

As far as the protests go, Hillary Clinton once said that protest is the American Way. (Or something to that effect). Does only Left-wing protest rate as legitimate in your book? Are Left-wing protests not "immature and childish"?

YJ, there is a difference between protest and public disruption. There is proper way to protest. To come to a meeting which has been organized to promote public discourse, exchange of ideas, then to yell, scream, drown everybody out, in general behave in a disrupting way with the sole purpose of shutting down the meeting is not protesting, it is a Nazi like tactic.

These Town Hall bandits remind of Nazi Brown Shirts.

Franks and Murtha (and roughly 60 other Democrats) WILL meet their well-deserved fate in the upcoming mid-season election, the usual graveyard of disrespectful punks such as these two.

Appreciate your ignoring my comment in response too your extremely ill-informed, almost totally ignorant post about the Dakotas. Typical, though. For Democrats (and liberal left-wing nutbar Canadians) anything and anybody East of the Rockies and West of the Mississippi is nothing but a bunch of hicks.

Get off the "hate" wagon. I do not hate Barney Franks. I do not hate anybody.

Pity, contempt, disrespect, irreverence and slight, YES! Hate: NO!

Hate is the exclusive purview of the LEFT.

"Time and time again, Frank insisted that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were in good shape. Five years ago, for example, when the Bush administration proposed much tighter regulation of the two companies, Frank was adamant that "these two entities, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, are not facing any kind of financial crisis." When the White House warned of "systemic risk for our financial system" unless the mortgage giants were curbed, Frank complained that the administration was more concerned about financial safety than about housing."

Ironsides, five years ago, both the Senate and the House were under Republican control, Frank had no power whatever. What he said was totally irrelevant. Republicans could have passed any law they wanted. If they thought that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were in trouble, why didn’t they do something about it?

Were they afraid of Frank? Frank had no power in those days, zip, zero. What were they afraid of? That Frank may touch them and spread the virus of homosexuality and turn them homosexual (some religious right nuts probably do think that way).

Five years ago Republicans controlled Presidency, Senate and House. In no way can they blame a Democrat for what happened five years ago, it was totally Republicans’ fault. Unless you think that Frank was so powerful in opposition that Republican House and Republican President were cowering in terror, powerless to do anything against Frank’s wishes. Was his wish the Republicans’ command? Talk sense.

As to the alleged prostitution ring, that is for the law enforcement and Frank’s voters to sort out. If he did something illegal, he will be indicted for it. If he did something outrageous, his constituents will vote him out.

Did you even see the exchange? Or are you just making it up as you go along?

Are you dismissing his very defense of two companies at the heart of the financial collapse?

Were they afraid of Frank? Frank had no power in those days, zip, zero. What were they afraid of? That Frank may touch them and spread the virus of homosexuality and turn them homosexual (some religious right nuts probably do think that way).
Are you for real? Do you have any idea how stupid you sound?

You should try using some sense yourself. You're defending someone out of ideology, not facts.

I like one thing about you, YJ, you are not afraid to make predictions. So you are predicting here that 60 Democratic Hose members will lose their seats. I will hold you to it. How about senate? Will 60 Democratic Senators lose their seats as well?

Appreciate your ignoring my comment in response too your extremely ill-informed,

There was nothing to comment there, YJ, I totally stand by what I said. Republicans were able to get rid of Daschle because both the Dakotas are highly conservative, Bible Belt states. They will find it much harder to get rid of Frank.

Get off the "hate" wagon. I do not hate Barney Franks. I do not hate anybody.

You belong to the far right Republican base. As such you viscerally hate certain democratic politicians (you of course loath all Democrats and love all Republicans, but you particularly hate a few Democrats). Among them are Obama (of course), Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, John Murtha, Barney frank etc.

ironsides, that report is by FOX. Would they really say anything else? To FOX, every Democratic politician is owned by Big Banks (as long as big banks are unpopular of course. If Big Banks ever became popular, then all of a sudden every Republican politician will be a friend of big banks, according to FOX).
How about using some facts to back that up there Link?

ironsides, thanks for being the Cavalry in my stand-off with CDNBear.

Also thanks for providing info that the Left usually choses to ignore.

Were you having a stand off with CDNBear? Interesting. I have him on ignore, so I don’t read his posts.

Anyway, from what I know of him, he is if anything even more right wing than you, I am surprised you got into an argument with him. He was probably having you on, just pulling your leg.

Yes you do...You just claim you don't so you don't have to prove your claims, or accept that you erred.

Anyway, from what I know of him, he is if anything even more right wing than you, I am surprised you got into an argument with him. He was probably having you on, just pulling your leg.
Again proving you're nothing more then a complete and utter idiot. Especially seeing as I sit further left then you...

SirJosephPorter, you and your ilk are making the fatal mistake assuming that everyone who comes to Townhall meetings to protest what is happening to their country under an avowed Communist, supported by a whole bunch of avowed Communists is a paid-off Republican.

That lady (and you and your miserable ilk better allow that she IS a lady) may or may not have voted for that piece of human garbage. In a liberally dominated state, chances are she did. Can you name someone who called Franks an infidel, or called Sarah Palin or Mark Sanford "God's candidate"??? Based on your post I was tempted to call you a "DINING ROOM TABLE" but I am far more respectful and decent to my political opponents than you or your hero, the homo pimp, Barney Franks.

The ones who come to the Townhall Meetings not to discuss, debate, to exchange ideas, but to yell shout and scream and shut the meeting down are the likes of pompous asses like Barney Franks who will have their rear handed to them in November 2010. The ones who ask the questions are heroes, you and Franks could never ever hope to be.

Jerks like Franks and Murtha (or any bloody Democrat who disrespects his/her constituents) should have learned from the example of Tom Dashle.

SirJosephPorter is a self-imposed IGNORANT.

By his own admission he never watches FOXNews. Even with his wife's Doctor's income he is TOO CHEAP. So it is no surprise that he never saw on TV any of the decent, hard-working but justifiably worried Americans who come to Townhall Meetings, and try to ask their "representatives".

He has no way of knowing (since his favourite "news" channels do not show it) that Republican Representaives intreract with and respect their electors, while Democrat Representatives call security when a properly phrased respectful question hit them in an uncomfortable spot.

But he compares people he could not hold a candle to "BROWN SHIRTS".
And he also claims to be an expert about FOXNews.

Our "stand-off" was peaceably resolved. That is something that an obstinate, stubburn, always-right, never-wrong pompus ass could never understand.

Like I said before: you are a self-imposed ignoramus. You deny yourself mental nourishment, in politics and more sadly, in mannerisms by not reaading the posts by CDNBear.

And believe me, both in politics and in mannerisms you need all the help you can get.

SirJosephPorter, you and your ilk are making the fatal mistake assuming that everyone who comes to Townhall meetings to protest what is happening to their country under an avowed Communist, supported by a whole bunch of avowed Communists is a paid-off Republican.

Not everyone, YJ, just those who come to destroy the meeting.

In a liberally dominated state, chances are she did.

Not a chance, even in a liberal area, there are invariably a few extreme right wingnuts.

Can you name someone who called Franks an infidel, or called Sarah Palin or Mark Sanford "God's candidate"???

That is implied, YJ. The Republican Party is God’s party. According to Palin’s religion, someone like Franks is very much an infidel, headed straight for Hell.

The ones who come to the Townhall Meetings not to discuss, debate, to exchange ideas, but to yell shout and scream and shut the meeting down are the likes of pompous asses like Barney Franks who will have their rear handed to them in November 2010.

You wish, YJ, you wish.

The ones who ask the questions are heroes, you and Franks could never ever hope to be.

Sure the ones who ask questions are heroes, but not that lady and her friends. They were there with the sole purpose of trashing, destroying the meeting, they were rent a mob sponsored by the republican Party, not heroes.

Oh, I don’t doubt that, YJ. As I said, he probably is at least as right wing as you are (maybe more). He was probably laughing up his sleeve while he was winding you up.
