Disastrous for the Trump administration, which seems on the verge of being coopted by the NeoCons of Republican Party.
Bannon was the one clear voice for economic nationalism in the Administration. Trump has lost his most reliale link to the movement of populist moral nationalism... that IS Trump's base.
Chief of Staff John Kelly, who was behind this, doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground in terms of political ideology. He is an administrator and of no use as an advisor for a reform the American economy.
Trump's administration could fall apart without that philosophical integrity. The globalist free market, libertarian NeoCons will destroy his Presidency. That's their intent, to get someone more malleable and controllable in office, to do the bidding of American imperialism, free trade and denationalization.
Bannon is going to be a thorn in Trump's side back at Breitbart. The revolution might just by pass Trump, because the New Age, Free Market Paradigm we are in has become unsustainable. It is collapsing and looking for a leader.

Not necessarily One can be a nationalist without being a leftist. Simmuarrily there are many leftists that are not nationalists. In fact most of the NWO crowd are leftists looking for a freebee.

As far as I'm concerned, when you look for gubmint help for anything - you go in my leftie box.
But nationalism doesn't fall neatly into the left-right spectrum. A person can be very libertarian while still wanting closed borders just as a person could be a communist yet still support open borders, or vice versa. he nationalist-internationalist spectrum and the left-right spectrum are separate.
If that were the case I'd still be richer and more successful than a grunt who hate Socialized Medicare, but under VA is will to accept it.. :lol:
When you create a two dimensional scale based on social and economic dynamics, you actually run into contradictions of principles.
For example, increasing funds for civil liberties.
Or removing funding for abortion sites.
It sends a contradictory message that muddles whether or not a there is an appeal to authority or autonomy.
You can't simultaneously say one truly supports freedom or independence if they rely on authority.
