The article by Ginger Gorman positively oozed with sympathetic admiration for Mark and Peter, whose son was conceived in 2005 with the assistance of a Russian surrogate mother.

Fast-forward three years:

“Australian pair in L.A. convicted for making child porn with ‘adopted son’ from Russia”

He was only two weeks old the first time Newton, now 42, molested the boy that the Russian surrogate was paid $8,000 to bear for him and Truong, now 36. (…)

Initially, Newton and Truong claimed they were being targeted because of their sexual orientation.

Logically flawed. You have not demonstrated that extending pedophilia to homosexuals requires considering it as natural.

I'm not interested, and not competent, to decide who deserves to suffer and to what extent. I leave that to the self-righteous. I just figure any adult who makes the choice to kill or badly hurt another needs to have his/her ticket punched. Think of it as evolution in action.

I guess I have to say that sexual orientation is a right of all adults but that right doesn't extend to abusing children. The two paedophile homosexuals in the topic header deserve every second of that forty years. The idea that same sex marriages solve all the problems is straight out of dreamworld.

The fact that this couple is gay is not the cause of the abuse. Nor is their race. Or their religion. The only thing that causes pedophilia, is pedophilia.

Straight people are pedophiles too. They build families to molest as well. Heck, there are even cases of kidnappers breeding their captives to perpetuate the cycle of human slavery. Interesting that social views of pedophilia and homosexulaity have gone in opposite directions. Homosexuality was criminal in Canada for the longest time. Homosexuals were officially persecuted and unofficially hounded, often to suicide. Pedophilia, on the other hand, was never accepted but certainly not subject to the same social stigma it is now. Heck, country star Loretta Lynn had 5 kids by thet ime she was 18.
