Im not sure how everyone else here feels about our new president-elect but I myself am incredibly happy. I believe that Barrack Obama can bring change to America and unite the parties together that we have been desperately lacking throughout the last 8 years. It is a historical moment for our time, we have now just elected the first black President in American history which is a huge step for us as a country.I’m waiting to see if Obama can deliver his promises but i sincerely believe that he will.

I totally support Obama’s right to smoke the cigarettes because he knows the truth about the anti-smokers propaganda about second hand smoke that causes cancer.

What really is the cause of cancer are car and truck exhaust and factory smoke.

The government will never go after these industries because they provide good paying jobs.

In Toronto a lot of the pollution drifts in from the Ohio valley where America pollution controls are non-existent.

In Toronto people are suffering from breathing problems on a daily bases because of the dirty air.

All the hospital emergency rooms are full of people needing oxygen.

Toronto has a world-class cancer facility called St Margaret’s Hospital.

Toronto has had the toughest anti-smoking laws anywhere in Canada and they just past a law that says that a person cannot smoke when they have under aged children in the car but the problem never decreased and it is only getting worse.

Until the government can shut off the car and truck exhausts and get rid of the factory smoke then people won’t have to deal with lung cancer and breathing problems.

But our economy is sinking and the government don’t want to swim, now that’s a tragically hip thought.

And just who is this new "president-elect"? It's only been 6 weeks since a new president took office. It's taken our sick society over 50 years to reach the depths we've finally attained. Did you really think someone was going to fix it in 50 days?

I think it's more of a reaction to "thank god the "other" guy is gone inasmuch as the "new" guy can't possibly do any worse

Why is it historical? Because he's black? Yup, that's the reason. If Obama was a white dude, no one would care half as much as they do now. Now don't get me wrong, I have nothing against Obama, and frankly i'm glad he won the election, but all these people losing their minds over "hope and change", make me sick. Every ****ing news article is about Obama this and Obama that. I was in a gas station today paying for gas and there on the magazine rack is Vanity Fair with Obama on the cover, and Vogue with his chud of a wife on it, talking about her being a classy first lady. Seriously, who gives two ****s? The American people (and the World) eventually turn on every President. May I remind you all that the American people were in love with Bush when he was elected. It's true, go read some old news articles on cnn.com where they practically praise Bush. Then what happened? Time when on and he made decisions no one liked (hell i'm sure even Bush didn't like his decisions), and his popularity slid. The same will happen to Obama, eventually people will cease to be awed at him (due to his race) and turn on him.

Ok. You got me. What does "Chud of a wife" entail?

May I remind you all that the American people were in love with Bush when he was elected.

Uh no. There was collective dismay when Bush was appointed President in his first term. People were well aware that there would be a loon let loose in the White House and the best they hoped for is that he would do nothing as if he did anything, it would inevitably be disasterous (he proved them right)

His second term was just mind numbing for the American electorate and more a vote against John Kerry as it was for Bush.

The result. Four more years of incredible blunders
