I'm sure Justin Trudeau will leap into action and take this every bit as serious as the threat posed by peaceful truckers and their bouncy-castle. Ha! Enjoy having your bank account frozen sukkas!!!

Why are you guys laughing?

other than the taxpayers, and the regular people (first nations or otherwise) who won't have the same level of police or ambulance coverage for a while.

I wonder how many cops would have to get killed for justin to give a crap.

From the link in the OP:

Only three months prior to the Feb. 17 attack, the Morice River drill site had been subject to a coordinated illegal blockade that briefly stranded as many as 500 workers at the camp until they were freed by what the RCMP called a “rescue and enforcement” mission to dismantle protest camps and clear obstructions, some of which appear to have been inflicted with commandeered heavy equipment.

….inflicted with commandeered heavy equipment….

We had Family in that camp that was blockaded in. That was some real shit & not just “feelings” of violence. Stories that would make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. Actual real Terrorist shit long before the media picked up on it….

The RCMP know that around all the protest camps are snipers ready to take them out and it scares the shit out of them. Its a fine line that is going to to crossed sooner or later and it wont end well.

But they are Land Defenders, not eco-terrorist or eco-fascists. Defenders
Here’s a couple more Land Defenders:

How they think this must draw people to their cause of suppressing Indigenous democracy along the Coastal GasLink route in favour of the few I have no idea.

…But their people have been suppressed enough that they need to pour maple syrup on a painting in a gallery and then glue themselves to a wall?

“Attacks on works of art cannot be justified, whether the motivations are political, religious, or cultural. Art crosses boundaries of time and place to underscore the creativity that people everywhere have expressed, and they represent our shared humanity,”

The Vancouver Police Department say that officers were called to the gallery, but no arrests have been made at this time.

Police add officers will conduct a full investigation. At least it’s consistent with this:

Just grab their other arm and pull. HARD. Whatever damage to the wall or floor or paintings, make them pay for it. Declare all groups they have membership in as terrorist organizations. Then put them in jail and bill them for their stay.

Help them glue their other hand to the wall, facing the wall? Like standing them in the corner for a time out? Is that a politically correct method of disciplining children still?
Time-outs are a discipline technique that many parents and experts find very useful when kids act out in unacceptable ways. For example, you tell your toddler not to hit their sibling, but your child doesn't comply. In response, you sit your child in a quiet corner for a set time to reflect on what they did wrong (and, hopefully, how to not behave that way in the future).

Experts recommend not using the time-out discipline method until your child is around age 2 or 3. This is about the time when children will begin to recognize cause and effect and understand consequences. At this age, they are also starting to gain more self-control and are more apt to stay in the time-out area….unless they’ve actually glues themselves to the wall?

The best place for a time-out is one with limited distractions (so remove the painting for cleaning and restoration?). When there are no toys or entertainment, your child may be more apt to reflect on why they are in time-out and be negatively conditioned to not want to land in one again. Hmmmm….apparently this is effective up until about the age of 8 so maybe?
