Actually Gerry I still remember the act of contrition, the Hail Mary full of grace prayers and more.
I just don't have any need for them anymore as I no longer belong to the guilt me out club.
I left the church a long time ago, for a time I did look around at others but in the end I found them
to be even worse. I find no comfort in that stuff anymore, and I think our salvation and life ever
lasting is from the fact we are remembered for who we are with our good and frail points.
As for pie in the sky, miracles and being saved by grace is concerned, don't have any confidence
in that anymore at all.
The clergy is no different than the politicians, these days. Arnie is a fraud and he got his wife to
lie for him because he couldn't' be man enough to own up and be responsible for his actions.
Someone didn't like my reference to Reagan, well he too was a fraud, he used the Christian Right
to get what he wanted yet he engaged in what those Christians considered ungodly. Born again
Christians believe the fortune tellers and the card readers are not on God's side they are of the
devil etc. Therefore he was a fraud, as he and his wife both made their life decisions based on
the fortune telling routine.
they are all nuts in my opinion.
