sad that society has not evolved beyond using WAR as a solution to their problems and nations feel they have to be armed to their dentures and ready to attack anyone that they think might be a threat to them. Sad that dialogue and diplomacy has been discarded . Sad too that society (some) are so enamoured with the war mentality , that it makes them no different than the barbarians they insist on warring on.

Societal mindsets are the slowest to change./and evolve.

It is sad, Ocean, but it is also the reality of the situation. For the West to disarm itself and pretend it had no enemies would be folly.

I would have to disagree that "dialogue and diplomacy" have been discarded though.
