Use to love fishing for rainbows in the Spring River in Arkansas. I was going to move to Oregon many years ago would have loved to fish for steelhead.

Lots of steelhead in the Vedder River system right now . The Chehalius should be producing as well .

The season opened 9 days ago here. The rivers are still frozen solid.

Never cared much for fish of the salmon family. Too many bones. Fun to catch though I like to catch and release.
