Utah mom accused of taking nude photos of teen daughter for girl's adult boyfriend



DUCHESNE — A Duchesne County woman is facing felony charges after investigators say she took nude photos of her teenage daughter knowing the girl intended to send them to an Oregon man.
Prosecutors charged the 35-year-old woman this week in 8th District Court with three counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, a second-degree felony.

The woman's 13-year-old daughter told Duchesne County sheriff's detectives that her 30-year-old boyfriend from Oregon provided her with a cellphone and requested that she send him naked pictures of herself.

The girl said her mother took three photos of her after the girl couldn't figure out how to do it herself, according to charging documents. The nude photos were then sent to the Oregon man, the charges state.

Detectives also interviewed the girl's mother. She corroborated her daughter's statement and said she knew the girl planned to send the photos to the man in Oregon, according to the charges.

Detectives in Utah contacted authorities in Oregon, who are now investigating the allegations against the man accused of requesting and receiving the photos.

The Deseret News typically does not report the identities of victims of sex crimes and therefore is not publishing the identity of the accused to protect her daughter.

For f*ck sake, isn't it about time that society starts publishing the names, contact details, addresses and pictures of these pervs - just in case, you know, maybe the fathers (and some of his buddies) have the chance to talk some sense into these freaks with a bag of Louisville Sluggers?

Oh man, you are not kidding!!! Meanwhile her daughter is as pale as a ghost, from the photo I saw the other day. I haven't followed the story too closely but I remember reading somewhere that she merely brought her daughter with her to the salon, not that she made her tan. Honestly, I have no idea what the truth is or not, but clearly this woman needs an intervention!!

Wow....that's Felony Stupid. The woman isn't a member of Mensa, & her
13yr old Daughter couldn't figure out how to take a picture of herself? These
people haven't heard of a mirror? Yikes! ...And Mommy knew the 13yr old was
going to send these nude pic's to a guy in another state in his 30's?

I'm try'n to picture the conversation where the 13yr old is asking her mother to
take nude picks of her to send to a man out'a state....& the mother thinking that
was a good idea. "Hey Mom, can you...uhm...well..." & the mother agree'n to
this? I'm at a loss here. The mother, daughter, & this dude in Oregon are all an
arguement in favor of eugenics.

My opinion may not be politically correct, but it's real.

NEW YORK - She doesn’t walk or talk, but this doll is really, really tan.
A novelty toy company has created an action figure modeled on the deeply bronzed New Jersey mother charged with child endangerment and accused of taking her then 5-year-old daughter into a tanning booth.
Herobuilders, based in Oxford, Connecticut, began selling the $29.95 action figure on Monday in the hope of capitalizing on the sudden prominence of Patricia Krentcil, 44, whose extreme tanning story and shocking photo went viral last week, prompting a skit on the TV show “Saturday Night Live” and online parodies.
“We used that fantastic kind of orange look that some people get,” Emil Vicale, president of Herobuilders, told Reuters, describing the color chosen for the action figure’s face.
The figure also has bright yellow hair and is dressed in a black jacket and pants.
Vicale forecast sales, strictly online, of 500 to 1,000 units.
He said the action figure was meant to be humorous, adding that he was reluctant to discuss what he called the “sadness” of Krentcil’s alleged actions. Krentcil has said tanning is her hobby. Dermatologists say excessive tanning could be the sign of an addiction.
“It’s none of my damn business,” Vicale said. “I make action figures. I’m not going to go into this woman’s thought process.”
Krentcil was lampooned in an SNL skit featuring actress Kristen Wiig which suggested that her deeply tanned skin had the power to toast bread.
Authorities say Krentcil’s daughter, now 6, turned up at her elementary school in Nutley, New Jersey, with a sunburn on April 24, prompting a school nurse to contact police. Krentcil has said she did not take her child into a tanning booth, and that she would not permit it.

The latest I'm hearing on this is that she now wants to either get a reality show (Quelle surprise!) or pose for Playboy, LOL.

Playboy turned her down.
