How could Amazon force them, when there are solar panels waiting to be built. They can just quit Amazon and build solar panels

10 hrs is a normal shift, 12 is common except for highly paid government employees that can live in style on what they get for 7 hrs.

I've heard they are going to be painting lines down the middle of the halls in government buildings, to offset the risk of injury from the people arriving late crashing into the people leaving early.

10 hours days are getting more and more attractive. It's not so "brutal" compared to an eight hour day and depending on scheduling you end up with more days off. At my job I work 14 ten hour days in a row and then get 14 days off. Works just fine for me. I used to work 21 on/7 off which was nice for the bank account but was getting harder and harder on my aging bones. 14/14 is a nice way to coast into retirement. There's also the math, a 14/14 shift keeps more people working that 21/7. That keeps the socialists happy. :)

Welfare for everyone is what makes the socialists ( AKA COMMUNISTS) happy.

Data from states shows thousands of Amazon employees are on food stamps

We don't get any time off for working 10-12 hrs but it adds up on the cheques. I hear you about the aging bones. When I turned 65 I quit my 12/14 job and work for a local contractor I know. Works out to about half time.

I think my record was 72 hrs. Regular time , 43 hrs. Time and one half and a whopping 102 hrs. Double time . I believe there was paid penalty time added . Ugly seeing 55% of your cheque in deductions . Would have loved no taxation on OT .
