JLM I have driven that road many times, I used to be at CKYL Radio back in the sixties
that road was bad then for Pete's sake. I don't think there is any one group with the title
though, ever driven in Cape Breton? I saw a few firsts there I tell ya. Mind you I was
going like a bat out of hell myself.
Bad drivers are everywhere cars are. Montreal in rush hour stands out in memories
too.

The Alberta government is very intelligent. They've given all their bad drivers white plates with red letters and numbers.

I don't know about all of Alberta, but I do know while driving in Calgary if you signal to change lanes (and I always do a couple of seconds before I have to move over) they will NOT take their foot off the throttle for two seconds to let you in.
Do like I do when I am there (or Vancouver or wherever); just start edging slowly into the next lane. They either goose it or slow down to get out of your way. Just don't make eye contact when you do; look like you don't know anyone is there. :D

In fact, I go even further than that; I actually slow the people behind me down to let someone in front of me. And if I am being tailgated, I usually slow down really fast to let someone in front of me. :D

Yep, I've been known to do most of the above. Nothing like avoiding eye contact to really piss off those who are quick on the middle finger draw!
