I was lead to believe that the Alberta government is asking non-profit organizations who hold special liquor licenses, are asking them to estimate how much liquor they are going to sell, so that the government can demand a slice of their sales.

I question are they (the government) starting to act like a PIMP? You can never give a pimp enough money! Or is this the start of a way of introducing a provincial sales tax? At the same time, will the government now ask that all retail outlets, like hotels and lounges, sent in a portion of their sales. I think that if they say the want a portion of say a hockey clubs sales, they they should ask all retail liquor sales business to adhere. For sure, the government should make sure that they are not considered to be racists.
