^tide waters

you know they mean business.
"outside eco freaks" Are they a subsect of the granola munchers? Are the granola munchers inside, and the eco freaks outside? Outside of what?

Anyone who isn't freaking out about the ecology needs a diet adjustment.

Well we could move Vancouver , Richmond , Delta , Surrey , New Westminster and the Coquitlams , then the ecology would start to revert to historical times . Where do you suggest we move .

Pigs for sure and most of the wet coast. Most people down there have no idea how things work in the interior but they make all the decisions.
Are you confusing Victoria with the lower mainland ?

Imagine what would happen if you were allowed to comment

Would it not end up just like here?

Yes . But as I have never commented on any of the many CBC articles that allow comments , why would this be any different?

.... the wet coast. Most people down there have no idea how things work in the interior but they make all the decisions.

Ciffy's having fun poking his wit (?) at the wet coast, but a high proportion of the people on the wet coast - here - came from elsewhere; in BC, in Canada, in the world. Many have lived & worked in the interior; made their money in the interior or northern BC & returned/retired to the south coast.

Besides which all of the rest of BC gets to elect its own representatives to the legislature in Victoria, where they join in 'making all the decisions.'

The fact that the legislature - a sort of big committee - fails to satisfy everyone is no surprise but its inability to do so is (in my opinion) built into our political system, and particularly its partisan nature.

Why would anyone want to live in Nakusp anyway? (JUST KIDDING!)
