You are not forced. Sometimes actually sticking to ones ideals do have consequences. It is the choosing not to accept those consequences that makes one a hypocrite.

What he's saying is he hates how capitalism is so good. Under capitalism, a welfare check is still a better life then 99% of not having one and living elsewhere.

The only down side is you have to live arround a bunch of really rich people and be reminded at, how much of a loser you are everyday.

The rest of the world population would still be very happy to have his place. And that makes him even more mad

Harpercon, like many others need to to be reminded how lucky they are.

Stupid people don't like it when they realize how stupid they are. Then they leave and don't want to talk about how stupid they are anymore.

When it won't be worth it anymore for the working class, I'll go back to hunting & gathering. Until then I'll drive in my cars, & trucks, enjoy my electricity, refrigerators, restaurants, school services for my kids, free health services, fire services, ambulance services, community ice rinks, transportation roads from one end to the other of our country, television, Internet, telecommunication, parks, all kinds of entertainment parks. Free libraries, Universities, 3 level of representation government, access to world goods, Drinkable water, sanitary washrooms, employment insurance, retirements plans, public funded court systems and security police. Ability to start my own company, ability to buy my own property, freedom of speech. Mail services, gas to heat my house, military protection and safety, labour laws, the right to representation, etc.

I'm sure 99% of the planet would gladly switch spot with you. And that is how I know without a shadow of a doubt that your just a little bit€h
Many capitalist countries don't have any of these things. That's the problem with capitalism, it doesn't work for everyone and it's mostly beneficial to the ultra-wealthy class. You're content with crumbs.

You remind me how smart I am, and how lucky I was not to be dropped on my head as a child. Go on another rant about being an amazing irreplaceable woodworker, your boss would roll on the floor laughing hearing your stupid crap.

No you don't really understand. If you want to try and live outside capitalism the best you can do is find a cave to live in. Then you got to hope any water you find isn't polluted by any nearby corporate factories. You also have to hope the land you've decided to live on isn't "private property". It does no benefit to actually crush the system itself, which will happen inevitably. Capitalism is an unsustainable failure to the majority of the Earth's population.

99% of the world population makes less then 40 000$ a year. I make twice that much doing fine exquisite wood working, somethings that's quite enjoyable and is viewed as a great hobby by many.

I don't think I need Millions to be happy. Relative security, a house, Transportation. Good food. I have everything I need and some extra. I don't envy the ultra rich like you do.

Just the other day, a doctor stopped to admire my work, and declared he wish he could do what I was making.

My boss doesn't even make much more money then me even if he assumes a great deal more liability then me.

That's fine but you're not irreplaceable.

The main flaw that i see in your mindset and ideology is this. You have no respect for authority.
That's not a flaw. Mindless obedience to authority, that's a flaw, a serious one.

When you have 5 jobs,

It's not a problem if I can be replaced.

I'll simply augment my hours at a other job to compensate for my replaceability.

You think that companies are the only ones who can diversify?

Anyone with a brain can get by just fine in this society.

If I made it a specific goal to make sure I didn't succeed, like you have, I'm sure I'd fail too.

Are you done looking like a dumb idiot yet HarperCon?

I'm pretty sure that being in the 1% means you enjoy the same things that the ultra rich enjoy and it doesn't sound like you could drop any of the items, like one meal of mostly rice per day as your normal diest as that is about what 99% of the world eats.

Well that puts things into a good perspective. And that's all this employer is really doing. Trying to give his employees a reality check.

Or you could move to some communist country and practice what you preach. Remember their fences are to keep the people in, not out.

There is no good argument for communism or it's Armani dressed cousin, socialism. Just rants by the freeloaders.

It's settled then. Without any arguments from the left, this debate is closed. People should stop being little bitches and diversify.

True leaders, don't belittle their staff.. only idiots would think it's okay and shuffle into line.

A true leader who recognized there is better human resources available at this time then what he currently has, would be an idiot to miss out on the opportunity to shed some dead wood and add some new help.
