Here's how I look at it. When some asshat who doesn't live the same way they're busy preaching to me that I should live, I stop listening.
I'd bet dollars to donuts that Fat Albert Gore leaves a bigger carbon footprint in one day than my family leaves in at least a month.
The difference is, my wife and I aren't trying to pull the wool over anyone's eyes. We both understand how stupid it is to burn oil for power generation. Not because of climate change though but because quite frankly it's waste of a very precious resource that this entire global economy relies upon.
If you want a real eye opener, Google "what products are made from oil". There are thousands and thousands of them. Hundreds of which are everyday consumer goods. Not only that but oil does the bulk of the heavy lifting economically. Do you like all those consumer goods you have that are made overseas that used to be made here? Well, you wouldn't be getting them without oil.
The irony is, the same globalists who brought you this AGW scam are the same ones who made the West even more dependent on oil because of globalization. And at the cost of good, living wage jobs.
