I wouldn't even guess. I would say that the one in top right likely has some lab in it, but it isn't a purebred.

Thanks Juan ... proved my point. At least you admit you are guessing, and you got 2 right. Not that easy to pick those puppies out!

Yah but which two? Were they all pitt Bulls? I know they were all in the colour range of Pitt Bulls.

We shouldn't blame only Pitt Bulls. Boxers bite as well. We shouldn't forget Mike Tyson.

I'd like to point out that I have been bitten by dogs twice badly enough to need stitches...neither one was a pit bull, a boxer ( Mike Tyson or the dogs that bear a striking resemblance to him)....so why are these people picking on specific breeds...and the wrong ones at that!

 Seems like no one wants to play the pitbull game.

The top one looks like a cross-lab, g- dane, pit bull, so it has pit bull in it but doesn't look to be pure bred. The second one is a lab...third one looks like a boxer, and the last a great dane.

Guesses except for the one we know that #juan got right

RE: Ahh these pitbulls ag

I've been bitten most often by chihuahuas. My aunt and uncle had one named Rusty. Mean little bugger. Hated kids.

I've been bitten by another uncle's dog. St. Bernard crossed with either a German Shepherd or a wolf...nobody knew for sure. He bit everybody though, even my uncle. Bit of an attitude problem there, but he did put a stop to fuel theft on the farm.

I was attacked by my father's cousin's Shepherd. I was playing with her before supper, but when I walked out after supper, she tried to eat me.

I've been chewed on by a few others, but those bites happened when I was young enough that they should have made me afraid of dogs. I'm not.

I guessed that second picture to be a Lab as well. The water is a bit of a disadvantage because on second look it appears to have narrow hindquarters like a Boxer or a Bull.

I'd say the one on the Bottom right is one of them Bast...Well, I could say I've had an unfriendly encounter with one before. In the end 80% of the bad situation is the owners. But the selective breeding for the fighting dog has made certain ones from particular breeds *snap* even in familiar encounters. Unfortunately around very young children.

I've been bothered more by golden labs though in my life. They just never liked me.

Top two are pitbulls. :) Bottom left is Great Dane, bottom right is a Boxer (no, Juan, not Tyson ... too pale!)

While not wishing to impugn your knowledge of the different breeds of dogs, Cosmo, I do beg to differ... :)

Assuming that these are pure bred animals, and I've not been given any clear indication that I should not make that assumption:

Top left: Great Dane
Top Right: Golden Retriever
Bottom Left: Boxer
Bottom Right: Hound of Hell (pitbull)

8)

Vanni ... went to breeder sites and got the pix. ;)

Pitbulls are cross breeds, by definition, tho.

I know there was dog fighting in Winnipeg in 1975 but I don't know any details. What kind of dogs were used besides Pit Bulls? Was it always a fight to the death?
