And yet you are more than willing to defend Neo Nazis who say the same thing cuz free speech.

Well you, you idiots consider anyone with a political position to the right of Che Guevara to be a "Nazi".

Too bad you idiots are destroying the language used to describe political movements in an attempt to discredit everyone with a functioning intellect. If you weren't, your post above referencing "Nazis" might actually mean something.

It doesn't.

I'm sure you also took the oath to be Canadian.

Your type is what I would categorize as a real scum bag.

Please. The right manipulates the language as much as the left does. You know that, and you only blow your own credibility by suggesting only the loosey lefty liberals do it.

You don't deserve to be Canadian nor deserve to live in my country and use its benefits.

Why not? What about Jehovah's Witnesses? I guess you exempt them because they are mostly White Europeans like yourself?

Canada is a geographic territory, a piece of land. The problem I have with nationalism is it seeks to anthropomorphize nothing more than soil, rock and grass. Our so called national anthem is a perfect example of that. People say "You have to be loyal to Canada", how can I be loyal to an inanimate, unconscious thing? Anyone is a Canadian who resides in the land of Canada, whether or not they are "loyal" to the imposed artificial State established by Europeans guilty of genocide.

Wrong, I'm a born Canadian citizen. My parents and grandparents are immigrants.

First of all, let's get this out of the way:

For the first time since the “Abscam” scandal 36 years ago, a sitting U.S. senator will go on trial for bribery on Wednesday in a federal courthouse. Bob Menendez, a Democrat from New Jersey, is accused of intervening with federal officials on behalf of a wealthy benefactor in exchange for lavish gifts, including luxury vacations and major political contributions.

....and that burn is NOT covered by the Affordable Care Act.

Yea, nationalism is stupid.

People who have pride over being on a piece of land with imaginary lines around them.

They need some serious meds.

Nationalism has only a secondary rooting in the land. Nationalism is a celebration of common culture, achievement, a recognition of the wider tribe, and a pride in those things.

It is especially appropriate when one lives in a culture that is the absolute apex of human development.

That would be us.

Yeah, but you don't fall within Dummy's definition of "white," so he'll find you undeserving no matter what.

You're mixing two things. One is a political statement, the other is an explanation of my personal religious beliefs. I said we should accept the First Nations narrative as the national narrative in the context of defining which civilization modern Canada ought to belong to. I did not say all we Canadians should adapt Indigenous beliefs or culture, far from it, we must maintain multiculturalism and our own distinctive identities. Canada is not one nation but many, this too must be maintained as the official narrative.

So you live in Canada but not proud to be Canadian? You believe in a religion that has a symbol of war/defence on it's flag, but not a flag that has a symbol of unity/diversity? You believe we should not have Western values, but a hybrid of First Canadian values?
So many questions

Yeah.

We are growing, thanks to the economic revival in the USA under Donald Trump.

Where did mentalfloss say that? Oh, never mind. Mentalfloss, quit being a shrieking imbecile. The Canadian economy has never been a "dismal failure." You want to see an economy that's a dismal failure? Go to Venezuela.

Colpy, your Trump worship is cute, but see my "Thanks Obama" thread for the reality of the recovery.

Not that it matters. There is nothing a President can do, and damn little an entire government can do, to affect the economy in the short term. If there was, we'd never have recessions.

Muslims are very useless people, Muslims have not made a contribution for mankind in over 150 yrs.

Every Muslim country is a pure shithole, which goes to prove Muslims can't build shit and know f***k all, i.e. Totally useless

How can I be proud of something I didn’t achieve? I was born in Canada, but that is what God determined, I didn’t accomplish anything personally by being a Canadian, so why be proud of it? If you were born in North Korea would you be proud of that? I don't believe in pride in the first place, the only thing I'm proud of is my Religion and my religious identity, not my race, language, or nationality.

If you read what I wrote carefully, you will know that I never said we should all adapt First Nations values. I was criticizing the notion of ‘Western values’. I believe in the concept of multiculturalism and am against assimilation, that means you decide your own personal values. It shouldn’t be the function of the State to determine our values for us. And I also reject your insinuation that a flag with a leaf on it is somehow superior to one with a sword. Let’s focus on substance.

Muslims like being looked after by White Christians, that's why his parents came to Canada, they knew they would be looked after and that they didn't have to give anything back to Canadians for their generousity.

That's the same reason you saw all those Syrians going to Western Christian country but not going to other Muslim shithole countries.
