Actually, Trudeau is probably more pro-free-trade than Scheer is. While Scheer has gone on record to support CANZUK free movement, he opposes free trade with China. Trudeau supports free trade with China though I admit I don't know where he stands on CANZUK. If he should support it though, that would make him more pro-free-trade than Scheer is.
tax has an unfortunate tendency to substitute meaningless buzzwords and empty slogans for thought.

Are we smart and evolved enough to avoid the seemingly inevitable collapse of our modern civilization?
History is filled with magnificent Civilizations and Empires, all collapsed, all are in ruins. Many collapsed due to corruption and War, but many collapsed due to Planetary changes like volcanic eruptions, droughts, tsunamis or floods.
Our Modern Civilization needs Oil to survive, we need Oil to transport food and medicine, we need Oil to travel long distances, we need Oil or electricity to do most things, without them our civilization would collapse.
If corruption is not checked, or if a major Planetary change occurs, our civilization relying on Oil and Electricity will swiftly join every other 'collapsed and ruined' civilization before it.
Seems we are not so smart and evolved after all, we are on the edge of collapse, we need to protect ourselves from these threats, or its only a matter of time. - Nick Clark
We can already run everything on super duper renewable NG and you get to pay for transition.

What did you think the AGW scare was about?

Climate?

If he supported free trade we would not have supply side management that protects dairy farmers in Ontario and Quebec.

that's why I said in principle. I oppose supply-management myself, but I'd like to know where Scheer stands on it. Even Harper defended it, albeit grudgingly.

I will refer you the the Thirteenth Amendment. . .

Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.

Seems reasonable to me.

Canada will always collapse before America.

Canada can only survive if there is America next door.

Canada sells 80% of its goods to America, without America we would be just another shithole country full of losers from other countries.

Truly?

Canada can't build shit on its own.

Actually Canada can and does. We are one of the most blessed, intelligent and endowed countries on this planet. We will do just fine with a little gumption on behalf of our citizens. Cowards, surrender monkeys, colonials need not apply. If you're not brave enough to build an independent country with an independent future, leave so that you do not obstruct those with the know-how to do so.

I doubt he can leave. Pesky visa rules, you see. Who would want him? He could go to visa-free Svalbard, but then he'd have to find a job.

All of this discussion is based on one silly video that expresses the opinions of a single individual. The Zombie Apocalypse has more credibility. Watching that video was a complete waste of eight minutes of my time.

Mass gunfights and the Liberal's aren;'t armed. Then dig big holes and dump them into a mass grave.
