A friend of the couple has said that Farook's radicalization coincided completely with his arranged marriage to Talik during his pilgrimage to the Haj in 2013.

Prior to that he seemed an assimilated and moderate Muslim, born in the US. He had a good job, good education, was well liked, quiet, did his job well. He has a brother who is a Navy vet, with service medals and commendations for the Global War on Terror and an Honourable Discharge.

Talik's background seems completely mysterious. The press haven't even dug up a photograph of her yet. She is known to have come from Pakistan by way of Saudi Arabia. Two sources of the export of the most virulent forms of Islamic terrorism through the Wahabee sect, connected to branches of the Saudi royal family, and the Pakistani Intelligence Service which is deeply connected to Al Qaeda, Bin Laden and ISIS.. all Sunni Muslim outgrowths. The PIS orchestrated the Mumbai terrorist attacks in 2008.

What mother would drop off her 6 month old child, and embark on a mission of mass killing and suicide, unless she was completely indoctrinated by an ideology.. over a period of years.. to a point of utter fanaticism. It seems possible that Talik was a planted sleeper for these groups. Gaining entry to the U.S. by way of marriage to a naive, devout Muslim husband. She might well have been developed for the role as an implanted terrorist since she was a child.

It seems probable that Farook married a terrorist.. and became one... by way of the marriage bed.

You know I had just watched the movie "Behind the Mask" about this workshop where developmentally disabled people provided services for the community . My daughter informed me that the people that lost their lives fit this description. Haven't followed the details much myself. If that is the case it is mind boggling how anyone could hurt people like that.

I have this nagging feeling I'm seeing evidence being arranged to suit a crime. I've also experienced the extreme pissoffedness that comes with a job termination memo just after the new mortgage and just before Christmas. I hope Press Corps and Laws Enforcement aren't overlooking something just as tragic in the rush to make news

Heresay is a wonderful excuse..but that's what you get for people to anxious to wait for a smoking gun.

Another U.S. official said Malik expressed "admiration" for the extremist group's leader on Facebook under the alias account and said there was no sign that anyone affiliated with the Islamic State group communicated back to her and no signs of any operational instructions being conveyed to her. This official also spoke on condition of anonymity because this person was not authorized to discuss case details by name.

I have to be honest. There are certain parts of society that we are against for various reasons. The thing that does seem disturbing is that many people desire their points to be proven regardless of how harmful the actions may be to humanity. I remember listening to Limbutt a few times on the radio and him "hoping" the democrats fail . Why? Because he wanted his agenda verified. To hell with the consequences. It's OCD in it's purest form.

There is a wide gap between being "overly cautious" and scared.
I buy car insurance, and never had an insurable accident in 50+ years of driving!

Well that's certainly what I think of when I see people who are still outraged or even surprised by events like this.

Doesn't someone get killed every second in the U.S?
