I would ask you then, in the case of that prisoner, where should she go? She can't stay in an all male prison. We don't have exclusively Trans Only prisons, and I even agree that if she's a danger to women, she shouldn't be in a low security women's prison either. IMO, she should be in a max it doesn't matter what gender you are prison.
But that's not how our system is set up.
So you're taking a very, VERY small near to nothing number of Trans people - who are already a small percent of the population anyway - and using that as your excuse to deny rights and hate on Trans Women?
Question: What about a trans man who's done a horrific crime? Does he belong in a Women's prison or men's?

Do equal rights for trans people and allowing everyone to be regarded by the law as they identify lead to the possibility for non-trans people to abuse this to further their nefarious plots? Sure.
