I've said the law is racist.
Prove it.

No, you only think you did.
I've provided fact to support my position. Where is yours?

Like I said, endless smilies don't equal proving people wrong.
You haven't posted anything supporting your position.

What else should I reply with, when all you do is dismiss fact as "feeble" and offer nothing to support your erroneous opinion?

The fact that you have to resort to them so much more than everybody else shows how weak even you think my arguments are.
FIFY.

Stop projecting Joey, it's pathetic.

No you haven't
You're right. I haven't posted the definition of what a Nation is. I haven't posted that the Haudenosaunee met the requirements of Nation Statehood, before Canada.

Nope, I didn't post anything even remotely like that.

Yer funny Joey!!!

Care to post your proof that we are not a Nation then?

You're right. I haven't posted the definition of what a Nation is.

You've posted your opinion as to what it is....and I disagree. Your only defense is that the law backs you up.

As I've said more times than I care to count, I don't care what the law says. Either you are not smart enough to grasp this concept or you twist as much as you accuse others.

The law said Rosa could not sit where she wanted to. It was wrong.......it may very well have been legal (and supported by the UN for all I know)...that doesn't make it right.

I really don't care what the PC crowd thinks, Kweebeck is not a nation and your tribe is not a nation because it does not do the things that nations do. The ONLY reason this nonsense has continued for as long as it has is because we don't have people in Ottawa that will stand up to the PC crowd. If you want to be your own nation, be your own nation, with all that that entails. I have no problem with that. However, as long as you want to pick and choose what aspects of nationhood you want and which parts of Canadain nationhood you want, you (and I mean the collective "you" as well) are nothing more than spoiled children at best and leeches at worst.

No, I posted links, you called "feeble", in mere minutes of them being posted, which of course shows you didn't even read them, before you called them "feeble", so you wouldn't have to disprove them.

Your only defense is that the law backs you up.
Not at all. But even if that was my only defense, it still trumps your lack of any defense.

As I've said more times than I care to count, I don't care what the law says. Either you are not smart enough to grasp this concept or you twist as much as you accuse others.
I know you don't care what the law says. Because you don't believe the law should be applied equally to everyone.

I get that loud and clear.

The law said Rosa could not sit where she wanted to. It was wrong.......it may very well have been legal (and supported by the UN for all I know)...that doesn't make it right.
And again you want to compare city ordinance with Federal Legislative law, that has basis in international law?

Really?

You really want to be that weak?

I really don't care what the PC crowd thinks, Kweebeck is not a nation and your tribe is not a nation because it does not do the things that nations do.
And yet I have posted the legal definition, that was the legal definition, before the SCC upheld it.

While you have posted nothing at all in defense of your erroneous opinion.

The ONLY reason this nonsense has continued for as long as it has is because we don't have people in Ottawa that will stand up to the PC crowd.
And do what, break treaties? Go for it. If war is something you enjoy.

If you want to be your own nation, be your own nation, with all that that entails.
We're trying. We have to right all the wrongs the Crown pulled, in breach of the treaties to get it back though.

I have no problem with that. However, as long as you want to pick and choose what aspects of nationhood you want and which parts of Canadain nationhood you want, you (and I mean the collective "you" as well) are nothing more than spoiled children at best and leeches at worst.
I knew you meant collective. Bigots haven't the ability to grasp that not only is there more then one treaty. But that not all Natives are suckling at the gov't teat.

OMFG!!! That is, hands down, the funniest thing I've read on this thread.

TTYL - coffee time
Way to ignore all the rest of the facts in that post Joey.

Nice diversion too btw, but I'm glad that humoured you. I would imagine something you can't understand, and would purposely take well out of context, would make you laugh.

I know it's a waste of time, but you really should chew on this legal article...

http://firstnationschools.ca/node/275

Although I'm sure it will be dismiss as "feeble", or outright ignored. As you have established as your predictable MO. It is the basis for the comment "We're trying". It is the Crown, that has and still is, impeding the process. Which was an illegal act at its onset. So now you want to renege on the original agreement, because you think we no longer fit your ideal as a Nation, because of an illegal act.

Thus showing you do not believe in equality for everyone.

But I digress, you haven't been able to meet me at an intelligent level throughout this conversation as of yet, why would I think you would start now. A good place to start would be... Any chance you might post something tangible to defend your opinion any time soon Joey?

I mean you challenged me to actually debate your position. I'm trying, but you keep deflecting, diverting and ignoring the challenges to it.

Of that I have no doubt. Of course, you are failing miserably, hence your need for Joey references and silly smiley faces.
Because that's all your childish diversions merit...

Way to ignore more facts too Joey.

And to quote you...

At least I can disprove the idiotic bull**** you post.
Quite. Which is what I have done to all your posts in this matter. I'd like to at least see you defend your position. Seeing as you can't disprove mine.

Guys, please stick to arguing/debating the topic and let the personal sleights go
by the wayside.

So we're hopelessly stuck playing his little childish game of diversion, ignore and repeat as necessary.

We are? Who is making you respond to my posts?

For the record, you have not refuted my position in the slightest. You and your buddies are not a nation. The courts say you are because we haven't had politicians with backbones that were/are willing to dictate what Canada does or doesn't constitute a nation. That's why Harpo called Kweebeck a nation. Nobody seriously believes he meant nation in any real sense. It's simply political correctness run amok. If and when you and your buddies start acting like a nation instead of....(snicker)..."trying" to act like a nation, let me know.

Yep, you have been exposed as a bigot, failed to support your position in any way and have resorted to all the usual trappings of a child that gets caught with his hand in the cookie jar Joey.

Who is making you respond to my posts?
Me, I love beating up on trolls with comprehension issues.

So in short, because you don't like the evidence, it's just wrong and you have no actual proof to support you position, not even a flimsy attempt. You MHz, EAO Cubert and a couple others, all suffer from the same mental illness. Only the latter have far more ability to defend an opinion then you do.

Gotchya Joey.

Enjoying an afternoon at home doing laundry, making Chili, & catching up on things
here on the Forum. Please steer back to debating the topic and drop the pissing
match before the Thread becomes much shorter.

Tell Joey, he's the one that hasn't a clue what a debate is.

Wishing something wasn't, doesn't mean it isn't.

You know darn well the mods aren't going to declare a victor. You guys both need to take a step back. If he continues after you've stopped, he'll get infracted, etc. And vice versa.

I'm not looking for a victory, I'm looking for a challenging debate, with someone that knows what one is and how they play out.

At this point I would even settle for a discussion with someone that can at least formulate an opinion based on some fact and back it up with tangible evidence, I haven't seen anything resembling either yet. "Cuz I says so" doesn't cut it.

If he continues after you've stopped, he'll get infracted, etc.
Oh don't do that, he'll just run around the board falsely claiming I reported him, again.

It's time Harper tells the First Nations the bank is closed and they'll have no more special privileges based on so called native status such as fishing rights or not paying taxes because it's the 21st Century which means they will have the same rights and obligations as any other Canadian citizen..
