A no-fly zone over Libya?

Let me re phrase it, the Libyan Ambassador in his silk suit was fine with the way things were in Libya because he like so many other benefited from Gaddafi's brutal tyrant dictatorship.
Libya is like Iran and Syria Anti-West and this is why Gaddafi is ignoring calls from Western Leaders to step down and stop the brutal attacks against the revolt using Helicopter Gunships and War planes because they have nothing to use against him..

Until now Gaddafi had no where to run and no choice but to fight to the bitter end.

I too would like to know why I'm here. Also, how did I get here, where am I going and why do bad things happen to good people? Totally all serious and everything.
You know in Africa they dont have a problem finding guns but good ammunition. Mabye the Guiana Merc had some bad bullets that didnt work out in the heat of combat
Either way, estimates by the Italian FM of 1000 dead in Libya so far are credible. Libya has descended into civil war, with bulk of the military siding with the protesters against Gaddafi's personal security, elite commando units and hired mercenaries. It appears that Gaddaff has lost control of most of the country, but for the moment still controls most of the capital city Tripoli.
Since this is a violent crackdown, the chances of a free democracy emerging from the chaos is unlikely. The most likely outcome is one of these two scenarios:
1) Another absolute dictator seizes control. Possible candidates:
Col. Abu Bakr Younis Jaber
Chief of Staff of the Libyan military
Lieutenant Abdel Fatah Younis El Obeidi
Minister of Public Security
Al Mahdi Al Arabi
Deputy Chief of Staff
2) A failed state like Somalia or Afghanistan, where local war lords control their part of Libya and fight amongst themselves.
