Battles of Bull Run - not interested? Well I would be but having several thousand years of British Isles history to go at my brain isn't big enough! As for how Brits educate themselves, not sure what you're inferring, personally my interests encompass history, music, art and science. The reason I got hung up on those words from a song is because I write short stories and I'm using the song as a trail of clues!
This is one Brit who really does acknowledge the sacrifices too many Canadians made as our allies. My father was friends with a Canadian serviceman in London during WW2, the Canadian even loaned my father a Canadian uniform so that my dad could go to a social event that was supposed to be for Canadians only!

So from a very windy and cold South Yorkshire I wish you well.

2 pieces of free advice.

Don't take anything MHz says seriously....and don't worry if you can't understand half of it, neither can we.

Second issue you might run into is, our other resident Brit makes quite the game of being an obnoxious little troll (and I do mean Obnoxious!), so anything even remotely negative you infer from anything said likely has him as the root cause of it. Also, don't take that too seriously either.

Do with that advice what you will. :)

Not intrerested enough in Bull Run to look anything up, I'm not against reading what gets posted about it. Is that as taught bt Britain or is it real world? These days I would want to even re-examine the Pirate threat way back as being equal to the 'fight on Terrorism' where the best terrorists are your own soldiers doing an 'under-cover mission'. With Black-leaf the only sourse of material the answers might be tainted to slope in Britains favor a bit.

I don't view the leaders of any western nation as being very trustworthy these days, make that the last 100 years at least. You lost the war for who controls the Bank of England, all wars after that have been for them rather than for the citizens on the Island, you will get support from me for only one of the two mentioned groups.
Stories with what kind of theme, fiction or reality, most here would say my reality is definately in the fiction isle. People getting togeter in big groups is cool, when it is for war only then it loses the cool label.

This he is slightly embarrased at the moment, before it ends I hope you get an idea for a new story from me or somebody.

Sounds more like a confession. Nice to know you are the marker for what is good and what is bad, 'advice'. May I see your permit please?

y'oughta try sometime.

feels good to help someone out.

didn't cost me much more than 15 minutes of poking around the web and putting together a legible post.

not even as long as it did to poke through those documents you asked me to look at. 'member that?

and I don't care about what a bull run was found out to be any more than I have the desire to burn the roof of my mouth on a pizza slice.

Is BL really that obnoxious? I find him entertaining.

I find he has some of the thickest skin on this board.

basically untrollable, dry-assed sense of humour, rarely swears and pretty much knows his stuff as much as the next doofus around here.

what I can't stand though is his unhealthy bromance for that karl plikington asswipe.

So do I, that doesn't mean he doesn't have some some troll meat in him and that part is then fair game.

To be fair, my asking for help was to get a member off the board if I could prove he was a liar. Your position of authority put you in that position. Didn't you even put in some sort of disclaimer?? lol you did so, now that part is funny, the rest of that topic,. . . not so much..

I crawl around the web for 15 hours a day looking for background dirt, I mean material, on the 'headlines'. Bull Run would be 'not at the top' so the time I do spend getting educated is via what you and others post. From what has been posted so far I have about 14:09 left of that 15 minutes.
In my favorite subject it was promoted you should back away slowly from people that 'are easily confused'.

If you mean facts just bounce off, Colpy is still the king.

By crawling I get to look at the material in greater detail, more than that it means my search engine is called a 'crawler' as in webcrawler.com. (well that and the 4 playlists on the documentry channels that all run at the same time) This is running at the moment, try running his speech and then do an Obama one and switch back and forth, not many speeches in you get a 'feel' for who is the better speaker, so far the KBG guy is miles ahead in the 'believe' part. Saying it isn't so isn't being patriotic to North America, it letting some tards riun a good thing. Stupid is stupid, just beacuse leaders like JFK weren't stupid that doesn't mean the next round isn't making up for it, all withoiut a whimper from the ones most affected. I don't feel like cheering that on to be quite honest.

What posts have you been reading? 8O

He's a bigot, a chauvinist pig and he whines a lot. And I don't throw the chauvinist label around lightly.

You should. Go on, do it! :D

To MhZ to answer the only part of your post which makes any sense to me I write fictionalised versions of real-life happenings as well as pure fiction for a VERY niche market.

Like I said. He's entertaining.

Wow. That's sad, pathetic and a whole bunch of offensive.

Tell me, what was the funniest part. Was it when he suggested that some women on this forum were going to end up in hospital with their jaws wired shut? Or maybe it was when he suggested the Nazi's didn't do enough to kill off certain groups when they had the chance?

He's not a joke, he's a hate filled, tiny little man.

I don't read enough of his posts do I must missed the worst of it, though I have noticed him being quite nationalistic. But what zm I to do but laugh at it? Getting angry won't change it.

But as for me, I worship a woman. Getting unlocked depends on it.

I don't think I believe that. You appear to be pretty bright, I'm sure if you wanted to write a fictionalized account of that particular set of real world events--and you wouldn't be the first by a long shot--your brain is plenty big enough to hold everything you'd need. I'd probably buy that book too, I enjoy good historical fiction.

So you would qualify as a reporter for any western media. I'm more into turning fiction into reality, ie the Bible.
