... A hint at least? Your clues above are pretty vague, nobody with any brains reads that stuff for long. Bridget Jones' Diary? What a piece of crap.
Dex, are you ready to Sherlock the clues left so far? That was the last one, the first one would normally be the OP but if you examine the posts one by one going back that might give you an 'impression' of who actually made the OP. Even a list of general observations might help 'us' get through all 'her' vagueness as people who do that are usually more impressed with their ability that reality bears out, (in terms of being as vague as they want to be) Cryptic people usually have an over-abundance of time on their hands and on their chessboard they are always 3 moves ahead and they never sit bolt upright in their chair as they 'have seen it all'. Most lies are mirrors of the truth, as in sliver, so the clues left by the OP are what they consider to be slivers and from their perspective they are right. Depending on the relative position of the sliver of truth and the position of 'the target' and their ability 'to see' the sliver might be shining some unwanted light on something that is in a background when the foreground is promoting that all background activities have ended.

Clue about exclusivity of the reader and being historically British means Britannica would be the norm as far as 'taught history' but if they claim to know the 'whole history' (such as why the India/Pakistan Border is where it is) then exposure to somebody who has been to private school has taken place and it is highly unlikely this is a defector from the private schools so the 'evidence that can be shown' might be a statement saying such things exist and then zip, you know, like when it doesn't actually exist.
Then again, maybe the help you guys gave her was all she needed to complete her book and she just couldn't find that without visiting here

(another hint as to where the inspiration for the two stories I mentioned came from).

"Defector from private school" Don't make me laugh! I am proud to be dyed-in-the-wool working class, I was brought up on a council estate and still live in a council house (not sure if that translates into Canadian). Thankfully I had parents who put a high value on ALL kinds of learning. I didn't go to university - I went on the road as assistant tour manager with various rock bands and got a hell of an education for which I will be eternally grateful - but since then have studied many things (from aromatherapy to law and psychology) and I'm proud to say I've never failed an exam that I've sat at any age.
I'm a wordsmith, I learned to read and write at age three (I was walking independently by 8 months old) because my two siblings were 8 and 12 years older than me and I wanted to do what they were doing.

To be honest when the insomnia strikes (most nights) I've had a real giggle trying to decipher MHz's posts. As I writer I have to let my mind 'wander' but the path's laid as I tread it, I just have to follow. MHz's mental meanderings on the other hand could be a great basis for a character! Just have to wait for the right hook-line for the overall story to come to me. The reference to the Krankies intrigues me, was this Gad-awful 'act' inflicted on the Canadian public, are you a Brit in Canada or, like me, are you a Brit in the UK popping into this Canadian site? Hope you have a good Christmas (if you observe it that is)

He's a BNP-Lite imbecile posting from London.

But I don't mean that in a bad way! (Universal Italian-American disclaimer.)

Hey I resemble that remark. Make the meandering thoughts answers to questions that have a 33 second delay between end of question and beginning of the answer. Season rates apply. Not saying it is an inspiration but of all the 9/11 films available 'Who Shot John O]Neil.' was the one I found most informative as it was the first one I saw with the strings and the labels and the concept that the Taliban were drug smuggles for the West. Most people are distracted by the one actor playing about 7 different roles and experiencing some rather animated discussion that eventually lead to a summation that is factual based.

You would make a wonderfully new addition to the event horizon, . . . .

London isn't a banned word is it? Bet's if this one is going to swim towards or away from here?

Say no more, say no more. Being somewhat familiar with the chap I am actually his one and only authorizzzed PR Guy. Rates vary depending if time travel is involved, . . . have I said that before in the past recently? Anyway, . . . I have to gather the guys, be right bacccck, . . . almost forgot, is the fictional historical rendition coming up of the reality of God being bigger than a few words in a book as viewed through they eyes of the victor, should the plan actually unfold as desired.
If I said you flush easy would you know what mean?

If you don't snort it won't make it into any novel. I see your surprise and I agree, there or soon would be extinct, that Mom was the hitman is most disturbing. A defector would be somebody that admjst those schools even exist as teaching but what the public school dishes out once you get past 1+1+11

I am proud to be dyed-in-the-wool working class, I was brought up on a council estate and still live in a council house (not sure if that translates into Canadian).
What about starved working class? I'm assuming middle class to upper middle class, difference being one can take a decent vacation, the other one had to budget for a holiday weekend. Don't want to dig my hole any faster that needed but it could either be a country lass enters the big castle and one or the other is changed. The alternative is the city lass ends up in the country using permaculture techniques to ward off a coming weather change, roll with the punch kind of farming using all the resources available at the city with it's super computers. Power in London would be a floating conveyer belt on the Thames that is a mile or so long and the paddels fit the bottom quite closely and it rises and falls but itself for tides and floods. Dosers, lots of dozers make better landscapers than mother nature as far as river bottom and bordering fields go. 1% backslope is good for renewing the fields with rock-dust and long list of other reasons taht sat it should be terraced fields. Back to never-never land.

Thankfully I had parents who put a high value on ALL kinds of learning. I didn't go to university - I went on the road as assistant tour manager with various rock bands and got a hell of an education for which I will be eternally grateful -
We listened to bands in bars starting at 18. My claim to fame is a friend and I were the first 18 year old to walk into a gar when the age got lowered from 21 to 18. Us 'long hairs' got served and that Wednesday was the best Saturday night that place ever saw. For the next few years there was a lineup by 7PM every night. No need to say more. Payday was from running heavy equipment, 0 experience but the machine makes so much an hour so your rate is set to that, it is also expected you be a fast learner and be at work when required, after work most of the (paving) crew headed for the bar for one or two and closed the place every night for a decade at least. 6 months work at 12 hrs a day and 3 days off still saw the bank account sitting at about $1500. Just enough to have the water freeze and then the cats (large bulldozers) could travel around the swamps and those are camp jobs so you go in an wotk as many hours as you can be wake for and months later the ice melts and you have 6 weeks before the roads are ready again, book it to Lost Wages Nevada and spend 2 weeks in town and then head for the alke fot the other month. Breakfast was a 6 pak and lunch 1as $1.99 at Shakey's Bunch A Lunch (girls filled up their purses and it was back to the lake fot 3 days of drinking and sitting in the =90deg sun. I agree university is not the only path to happiness.

One, or you wouldn't have had to come here looking for information, not that it is a bad thing.

I'm a wordsmith, I learned to read and write at age three (I was walking independently by 8 months old) because my two siblings were 8 and 12 years older than me and I wanted to do what they were doing.
That may have got you walking early but their acceptance of that is what taught you to run. (away from them)

NEVER judge a book by its cover - especially when you're looking at it over a great distance through the wrong end of a telescope!
Of course you should, you should judge the book by every jot in it, it is the rendering judgment that should be avoided until the book is finished. For most books that would be reading it like a novel and that would be about it, the Bible is a mystery book at first. You (any reader) take the words in Revelation and look for similar references in the rest of the book and keep doing that until that is a completed task. On the 4th week you can render judgment on the book overall, that isn't because the book is badly written it is because it is overly well written in that the details are so fine we consider God to be somewhat long winded when the reason is it has that much importance overall.

Thanks for sharing.

I have trouble slowing down to where I can see grass grow, or to use punctuation between the subject changes. Don't want to burst your bubble too fast but if the ponder moment was copied and the term 'explain' attached then you decipher mode is going to get a lot more miles as the 2nd reference might not clear up every issue.

As I writer I have to let my mind 'wander' but the path's laid as I tread it, I just have to follow.
It's not called wandering when it is really a 'push, pull, drag' affair and you don't always win. Catch 22's work that way, the best ideas come to you rather than you chased them down and made them produce the results you wanted or knew was in there or something like that.

MHz's mental meanderings on the other hand could be a great basis for a character! Just have to wait for the right hook-line for the overall story to come to me.
Like waiting for the train by standing in the middle of a desert and time ticks by that shows the barren desert and then construction of said tracks and arrival of said train and you board at normal speed.
You won't see many telepaths around, they seem to have gotten caught inside an ever shrinking ball and at this stage it would be like taking the lid off a very hot pressure cooker.

If that buffalo herd hasn't made it into a story yet I fear for their chances of ever being in one

You answered my question with a question. You also replied to a post that certainly wasn't written in your direction and you just confronted me from asking about one post of yours that was posted with no name attached. You have padded walls yet?

Here smartass, when she gets on the train why is the compartment so dusty if the curtails are waiving in a breeze. Careful where you step, imaginations at work.

From the word 'my' to the lowest portion of the ear you will find a face looking to the right and slightly down of a man with a dark beard. The transition is the left and right sides of the brain switching who has control. Some people can't see both pictures no matter what.
I'm a tard in your view but you can't wait to post something in my direction. That equals re-tard

You've never tried reading your own post after you are sober?
You would both get dizzy, you from confusion, they would experience it as a vertigo king of feeling. After all only a few suggestive words resulted in this under 'free-flight conditions'. What came after is just through hours at the wheel, in the case of the bible it is reading, a lot of reading and talking, a lot of talking, then a lot more reading. All of this other stuff is projections of current paths and trends using time as the animation agent most of the time. Rule number one, there are no hard and fast rules.
In order to not look stupid you have to us a different term than sober as I already eliminated that as a cause by saying I don't drink (or any drugs other than some low grade green tobacco) You should now explore some other possibility, this was written before moving into the magic mold house so that would not be a cause but it could certainly be an agent that influenced the direction my thoughts took back then. This is for the OP and my 'qualifications' to come up with some 'crazy **** that is unique from every angle'.
You stick around as the example of what happens if you don't stop and get clarification as soon as it gets unclear what is being covered.

(fade in)
I started of with the Lord's Prayer and just as I was about to start my plea I got a vision that I was outside my body and saw myself, from the back and above, in a kneeling position with a mist a very short distance in front of me that obscured any further view.
I heard myself say "Master, I don't feel so good." A large hand came out of the mist and completely enclosed my body. This happened in a 'twinkling of an eye', I found myself enclosed in this hand and it scared me to no end because I struggled to be free of it's grasp but found I could move not even one little bit. This feeling of being scared lasted only for the briefest of moments.
What replaced it was the most peaceful feeling I have ever experienced, bar none, and to be quite truthful have not experienced that 'level' of peace since.
As soon as this wave of peace (meaning I was in the company of someone who cared for me much more than my words will ever be able to describe) overcame me the hand loosed it 'grip' on me and it opened and I found myself sitting on this palm facing the ends of the fingers and seeing further forward than that.
In front was a hallway, very tall and the walls were black. The walls were not smooth, but rather, had many indentations and sharp corners at these indentations. There was a faint light at each of these 'corners' and that was the only way I could tell the walls were not smooth, the rest was pitch black, I could see neither floor nor ceiling, only these faint corners.
We were moving down this hallway at a leisurely rate and as I was feeling very 'relaxed' I was going to change my sitting position so I had my hands behind my back and then I could lean back and rest on them. As I was leaning back one hand seemed to miss the expected surface that would support it and I ended up rolling to one side. I looked back to see what had 'gone wrong' and I observed a great hole in the palm of this hand. I immediately burst into tears and said with alarm "You've been hurt!"
I heard not a word but my tears left me and I spent the next few moments crawling around the hand, much like I did on the school-ground equipment when I was a small child.
This hallway had corners in addition to the indentations in that it was not straight as we have halls. We came around one corner and off to the right I could see a faint glow of light some distance down this other smaller hallway.
I asked "What's down there?" A voice (rather deep but very 'soothing') answered "You're not ready for this, but I will show you."
Off we went down this other hallway going around gently curving corners and the light got brighter with each corner we passed. In very short order we came out on a dusty, earthen path and I could see a sky. This path was rather narrow and had grass growing on either edge.
On the grass to the left there were several rabbits hopping around, a few bounds then they would stop and nibble the grass, a few more bounds, another nibble. Our presence did not disturb them in the least.
Just behind the rabbits, only a few yards from the path, was what I would best describe would be a three-wire barbed fence, not in the best of repair as the wire sagged a bit between the posts and none of the posts stood up properly but were tilted a bit at various angles.
A bit of distance from this was another fence made of planking, much like you would find around any farm that kept horses or cows, and behind were some farm buildings, house and small barn made of the same wood as the plank fence.
All the wood was very weathered but the condition of the buildings and fence would not warrant paint as this would be a waste because of their condition.
As I looked over at this scene I noticed several dogs in the yard. There was much running and yelping and much dust from all this activity. I could not determine if this activity was caused by our presence or not and if, in fact, the dogs were playing or it was a somewhat more serious matter they were involved in. The circles they made were small and done in quick fashion so in the short time I observed them they completed many circles.
The path we were on also had the gentle twists and turns like the hallways we had just came from did. We continued down this dusty path and came around another corner and came to a stop. The path ended here and was replaced by a large open space covered in lush grass, a short distance from us I could see gently rolling hill. I could see far enough to see three or four 'rows' of these hills, one behind the other. Very beautiful and serene but what was most astounding about these hills was that they were completely covered by people, standing so closely together that not one more person could have stood with them. There was a small open space between where the path ended and this large crowd stood, which is how I knew the grass was so lush.
On this grass, about midway between the end of the path and where the crowd started stood two people, one man, one woman. As remarkable as this whole scene was I was still even more astounded to see not one strand of hair on any of their heads, not one anywhere.
The two in front spoke no words but it was quite plain they were pleased to see 'Him'. No words were spoken to any from 'Him' either.
We turned and went back from where we had come from. Back into the little hallway till we turned left at the larger one.
We continued down this for some distance until we came to a doorway that was on our left.
I heard a voice say "This is a safe place for you."
The door opened and I went inside to a circular room about 50 steps in width. The room was decorated in many shades of brown and the 'outer wall' had shelves that went way round all filled with books. The middle had furnishings that matched the colors of the bookcases.
The door closed and I was alone.
I stood for a moment and went to the door and opened it just a crack. What I felt was sheer terror, and quickly re-closed the door and felt the terror was gone, as long as the door remained closed.
What was outside was not only terror but evil in that it had nothing good planned for me should I be foolish enough to open my door and go into the passage on my own.

(fade out)
