A weekend of violence has claimed five lives: four in Toronto and one in Halifax, and left four people injured.
One of the victims was 11-year-old Ephraim Brown who was killed in Toronto in the cross-fire in a shootout between two rival gangs. Brown was attending a birthday party. Toronto police say they have made an arrest in the shooting. Akiel Eubank, 21, is facing a charge of first-degree murder.
The gun violence in Toronto and the two other cities is prompting calls for harsher gun laws in the country.
The mayor of Toronto is again saying it's time for Canada to issue an outright ban on all hand guns.

Yeah yeah the police wanted and got more men on the street blah blah blah. Still little kids and innocent bystanders are wasted in the wake of snother blood bath summer of the gun. So let me be the first, though it never worked before, we need to dump more money into the malfunctioning police services and pretend for another year that we are doing all we can to blah blah blah.

Let's blame everything except the one thing that is the root cause.

Miller is an idiot.

The ten nations with the lowest murder rates on earth (late 1990s) are: Slovenia, Austria, Sweden, Switzerland, Israel, Hong Kong, Norway, Ireland, Finland and Singapore.

In Switzerland, all males 18-45 years of age are armed with automatic weapons.

In Israel, citizens freely carry arms, both handguns and automatic weapons.

Norway, Finland, and Sweden are among the countries with the highest rate of private firearms ownership on earth.

Can we PLEASE find somebody to put in power that actually has a brain?
