Nonsense. The Conservatives are plenty critical of Harper's government.

It's a team sport, mentalfloss. Some folks are "the team uber alles," and will never whisper a word against the team. Some say "I'm loyal to the team, but we're doing this and this and this wrong." Some say "I'm with the team as long as it's winning." And some say "I'm with the team for now because it's closer to what I want than any of the other teams."

The first two classes are what we Yanks call a "party-line voter." The third is opportunistic, and the fourth is sensible.
sometimes I'm an opportunist and sometimes I'm sensible because sometimes it's sensible to be an opportunist

Good for Harper. I'll be voting for his party again this year.
lmao...shocker...so will most in here

he might not make it

just saying

What's with all the complaining.. Canada fared pretty well during a global recession.. compared to the United States, I wonder how our budget measures up.
that was because of the banks not Harper

Actually they used two billion from a rainy day fund to balance the budget
This is nonsense at best, Its time to make all sectors in society pay their
share. Seniors who have money get to save more without paying tax while
those without get nothing, I am against income splitting and I am a senior.
There was nothing for ordinary Canadians

I disagree in that I think most people have more wisdom than bureaucrats when it comes to the wise spending of money.

It's hardly a balanced budget if they haven't yet bought the planes for the air force. I assume Harper is leaving that for
whoever wins the next election. Typical.....

Looks like this budget hasn't changed their fortunes.

Poll numbers are still showing Liberals and Conservatives tied.

Notice how Justine isn't the media's darling any more?

Not even CBC thinks he's news worthy

... Not a good sign

Perhaps they are starting to see what most of us have seen since day one - a nice guy from a famous family of average talent and intelligence.

That might be a dangerous assumption. :)

Really?? I would liken it to me cashing in a rainy day fund to pay down a debt that is costing me in interest more than the fund is paying me.
