Forget it, Serryah. We're dealing with the kind of retards that think being around gay adults will "turn the kids gay."

Leastways that's the excuse they used for discriminating against gays.

Makes a body wonder why they opposed de-segregation in schools, though. Did they think being around Black kids would turn their kids Black?

Is…..is it contagious? Can I catch the Gay? Isn’t there a vaccine? The whole conversation has gone from adults debating to grade school playground antics from the ‘50’s here long ago.

As far as the black segregation goes, if that’s contagious, I could use a little Color this time of year, being a Canadian in April, I’m about as far from a tan as one can get.

Well, you tell me why for decades being gay was a disqualifier for teaching.

Ask a terrified moron, I guess. No shortage of 'em hereabouts.

Apparently some still believe so, especially in the US.

Isn’t there a vaccine?

No. Cause any vaccine carries a chip for the government to track you so vaccines are bad.

True and I'll admit my part in it. Am I sorry? Eh... only sort of.

It's been the most fascinating (and nauseating) thing. The whole "grooming" craze amongst Q-morons is just recycling "gays recruiting" panic of the 70s and 80s and the "turn kids gay" panic of the 50s and 60s.

There are no new ideas in Q-morons' heads. It's all the same recycled shit that's been definitively put down before. Just like the rise of fascism in Europe.

The stupid and terrified are easy marks for the snake-oil salesmen and tent-revival preachers.

Ignorance? Stupidity? Fear? Back when AIDS was new, Think of the fear in the general population….But now people know more and you’re not going to catch it from a handshake or a kiss or a toilet seat, etc…

So much of this debate and thread really comes down to “Who really gives a shit?” Or at least should anyway.

Do I really care if buddy Across The Street wears a dress (?) because it doesn’t affect me? I mean, if he’s wearing a dress and operating power tools I might say something about the safety aspect, like maybe a pair of jeans would be safer until you put the tools away… but that’s the end of it.

Do I really care if the teacher at the school is gay and he’s teaching my grandchildren mathematics? Yes it might be new math and I might not be able to help them past grade 8…. And I could still come up with a correct answer but with the wrong method…😁…. But does it affect me? Really?

Do I really care if my grandson is over playing at his buddies place who has two mothers and no father? Does it really affect me? If two guys choose to sanctify their relationship in the eyes of God and Revenue Canada…does that affect me?

Maybe I’m just looking at things from the outside looking in, but it just seems like much ado about very little. If somebody else’s lifestyle is different than yours and it doesn’t affect you, is it really any of your business?

If your neighbour is gay or a cross dresser or what have you (?) Who gives a damn? If your neighbour is a meth addict and has 40 people rolling through his door every day and crime is spilling out and actually affecting you then yeah that’s an actionable concern, but not if they’re just gay because it just doesn’t matter.

In all honesty though I really don’t even pretend to understand the whole alphabet thing and I get lost in that conversation because I just don’t care enough about it. Apparently, I think I’m CIS? That might be the right term. But I don’t care enough to even Google it. I think the whole thing is blown out of proportion, & if everybody just treated everybody else like they wanted to be treated themselves, would any of this be an issue?

You’re gay? Great! Whatever…You’re Straight? Great! Whatever….You’re some significant portion of the alphabet with a couple symbols from a different keyboard thrown in? Great! Whatever…who cares? Does it affect me even a little bit? Nope! Maybe I’m missing something but I don’t think so.

Personally, I'm fed up with this thread.

Being gay is NOT normal!

Now excuse me while I go off to exercise to Richard Simmons...

Ok, Maybe Richard Simmons isn’t normal, regardless of whatever his orientation happens to be and I don’t care enough to bother googling that.

If being gay wasn’t normal in someway, there wouldn’t be any gay people. Really when you think about it, Gay people ‘for the most part’ don’t breed and produce offspring so if it didn’t serve some kind of function or it wasn’t some kind of normal, it would’ve been bred out of the population already but here we are!! The fact that it exists means something (biologically speaking anyway).

This forum is obviously chalk full of right wing middle age men in the throes of their mid life crises.

They all think gays cause tornadoes....rising gas and food prices...and are all responsible for polka music.

I’m one of those right wing middle-age men, but I thought Trudeau’s caused rising gas and food prices and tornadoes and volcanos and plagues of locust and maybe even polka music.

I agree with all this.

Though while you're right about the "Cis" thing, I HATE that phrase and refuse to use it.

I think you’re confusing gay and paedophilia which are two very different things.
Really ? They are closer then you think , why it is perfectly normal to discuss transgenderism with 5 and 6 year olds according to some .

The thing is, gay people do 'breed', they just tend not to breed with each other. But surrogates happen now more than ever, and back before it was more accepted, gay people hid themselves and pretended to be 'straight', and having kids was all about that.

There is thought though that being gay is also a natural state as it is found in nature and is being seen in non-captive animals. WHY it happens who knows, but it happens.
