The Saskatchewan Roughriders just beat the Stampeders. Final score: 29 - 24 and frankly I am speechless.
I didn't have clue what would unfold yesterday, pete. The Rider's have been the Jekyll and Hyde of the CFL leaving fans and sportscasters alike in a quandary as to which team would show up on the field. Would it be the high-powered defence with STs contributing or the lack-luster offense that can't even get close enough for FG?I had zero confidence. It's nice being wrong for once.
The easiest way to sum it up; "Collaros threw the ball more than 15 yds to whomever was open not who he was told to throw to.
Or.............Zach was able to overcome McAdoo's mind control techniques, think on his feet, make good decisions and thus had his best game of the season. ;-):lol:The easiest way to sum it up; "Collaros threw the ball more than 15 yds to whomever was open not who he was told to throw to.
That is a huge loss for the Cats. I figured it was his clavicle by the way and where he was holding it. I've broken the same one twice. They still have a good shot at taking the East. The Rod Blacks aren't exactly a stable team.On the Ti-Cats front, pete - I just heard that Brandon Banks will be out for the remainder of the season due to a broken clavicle he suffered in their game against Ottawa. This is a big loss to the Cats. This is like our Riders losing Williams-Lambert and we all saw - well those of us lucky enough to watch the game yesterday - how valuable WL is to our team. Sad to hear - Brandon was having such a great year.
Great game by the Hoovers last night, pete handing the Stumps their 5th loss of the season is no small accomplishment. I thought that Dickenson would have his crew back on track after losing to our Riders but Mike O'Shea obviously had other ideas. Got such a kick out watching Boo complain to the refs about that last non-TD when the Bombers prevented the ball from going over the goal-line.Go Hoovers!

AgainRider defense can be relied on to score and just proved that.
