There is no such thing as inflation, it is a misnomer. What you have is a devaluation of the currency by the government increasing the money supply without producing anything to give value to that new money while incurring unpayable debt to create it. I will forgive your ignorance on the reality of the subject, you are in with 99% of the population who believe the lies and accept the false reality.
That US dollar has sure devalued! Get a grip.

For the sake of Canada's economy, we better hope it resists Trump's NAFTA-revision policy.

Don't be silly, it's a Liberals dream come true, I have heard them bitching relentlessly about how we forced NAFTA upon the "innocent" Canadians. I hope its the first thing he does, get the hell out of NAFTA.

According to the people waiting, it was scheduled for over 30 minutes ago. By her own people.
Well, I guess you'll just have to wait.

It will be interesting. The Republican congress is not a fan of many of his policies. I don't think tea partiers want to see a major increase in spending. Could be a lot of battles within that group still ahead.
You're kidding, right? The Republican Congress is now Trump's performing poodle show.

Yes it has. I know you do not understand.

Quick explanation is the value of a dollar is defined by the value of the country's resources and production divided into the amount of currency in circulation. If you increase the amount of currency without increasing the value of resources or production you devalue the currency which is why a dollar isn't worth what it used to be.

It's not a tough concept once you grasp the basics.

It's that "grasp the basics" part that seems to stump most folk.

I wasn't aware that Trump was planning a masssive trudeauish infrustructure program until his speech last night. He can make promises like no other.

When I was listening to him talk about the infrastructure re-building, I couldn't help but think about how Teddy Roosevelt. His spending on infrastructure not only helped to open the West, it put thousands of people back to work.

They want massive spending? We'll have to see.
They want to stay in power, and Trump just showed them how. He's the Republican messiah.

The survivors of his "opening the west" anyhow.

Do you think a population of 55,000 (Greenland) will generate much trade? :)

Nope. Like I said, the US pretty well got us by the balls. I'm just saying that we can survive if we must, but we'll take a damn good beating. Buth trading with little Greenland is still better than nothing if the US turns its back on us. Pickers can't be choosers. If the US turns its back on us, we'll want to trade with anyone and everyone who wants to trade with us.

"All night"? Isn't that time generally reserved for sleeping? :) :)

Yeah, indeed, and I was referring to your comment that she should be allowed to have some sleep first. So, you think that she shouldn't sleep during the time generally reserved for sleeping, because she should be allowed to sleep instead?

Yep, I learned it while trimming the azaleas. The Bachelor of Commerce degree in economics had nothing to do with it. LOL
You just demonstrated you know what you're talking about, gardener, economist, or whatever.

Listening to Paul Ryan right now and he is praising Trump for giving the Republicans a 'unified government'.
Precisely. The same Paul Ryan that said he wouldn't support or campaign for Trump. Figure it out.

You should move to Canada, Tec...........the TRC would love to have you.
Maybe I will. Next time the Roughriders amount to a bucket of warm spit.
